Cey Adams Head Design Evangelist Cey Adams, a New York City native, emerged from the downtown graffiti movement to exhibit alongside fellow artists Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. He appeared in the historic 1982 PBS documentary Style Wars, which tracks subway graffiti in New York. As Creative Director for Def Jam Recordings, where he co-founded the Drawing Board, the label’s in-house visual design firm, creating identities, album covers, logos, and advertising campaigns for Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Notorious B.I.G., Maroon 5, and Jay-Z. Today as an artist, Adams draws inspiration from 60's pop culture, vintage sign painting and contemporary culture. His work references pop culture, brand identity, and community issues. He recently collaborated with IDEO, Apple, Levi’s, Foot Locker, Pabst Blue Ribbon, YouTube and Google.
Roanne Adams Head Design Evangelist Chief Creative Director, Roanne Adams founded her creative studio RoAndCo in 2006. The studio first gained buzz in the design world for Roanne’s intrepid ability to build successful, scalable brands from the ground up. Over the past decade, Roanne and her team have helped launch hundreds of brands and worked to evolve existing brands, among them Google, Moda Operandi and MAC cosmetics. Roanne served on the Board of Directors for the AIGA/NY chapter and has given numerous talks on her unique branding process as well as her experience as a female business owner and leader. In 2017 Roanne launched Romance Journal – a publication devoted to exploring truth and raising collective consciousness through the female lens. She lives and works between NY & LA with her husband and two children
Jason Bacher Head Design Evangelist Good Fucking Design Advice Jason co-founded Good Fucking Design Advice while earning his MFA in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. He is currently an independent creative director in Brooklyn, NY, and co-author of the recently published book, “Do the Fucking Work: Lowbrow Advice for High-Level Creativity".
Jennifer Aldrich Head Design Evangelist InVision Jennifer Aldrich is a designer and blogger that has been lucky enough to spend the last 12+ years working in the software industry. Her work has appeared in publications like Creative Bloq, Startup Grind, UX Mag, A List Apart, Yahoo News, Modus, Inside Design, The Mighty, and more. She works for InVision and is living her best remote life residing in and renovating a 1920s construction cottage in the country. In addition to design, she loves spending time with her 16 year old daughter, taking an obscenely large number of photos, and chasing around her 3 wild Bichon Frise puppies.

Jennifer Hood Head Design Evangelist Hoodzpah Jennifer Hood is a mildly tortured creative based out of Orange County, CA. She is a Principal Designer and co-founder of Hoodzpah, Inc, a brand identity agency. With twin sister and co-founder Amy Hood she recently created a goods company called Odds and Sods (bandanas, pins, prints and other unnecessary necessaries). She is also a confounder of #ConnectingThings, an offline and online creative community with chapters across the US, and taught Professional Practices at Laguna College of Art & Design. Besides business as usual, she’s fond of sawing on her cello, falling under Netflix’s spell, reading/smelling an issue of Esquire, and singing a pitchy rendition of Toto’s “Africa” at the local karaoke bar. According to The Velvet Underground, Jenny’s life was saved by rock ‘n’ roll. That’s disputable.
Brandon Rochon Head Design Evangelist Kastner & Partners Brandon has spent his entire career proving that advertising means nothing if it can’t make a lasting impact on culture. But like any visionary, he learned the rules before he broke them. From New York to Paris to Chicago, Brandon cut his chops on some of the world’s most iconic brands; Absolut Vodka, McDonalds, PlayStation, Heineken, Coke Zero and eventually taking the helm as Global Creative Director of Samsung during his time at Leo Burnett. After that, he continued west to Los Angeles, becoming the Managing CCO and CEO of Kastner North America. At the same time, Brandon was driving other entrepreneurial triumphs as co-founder and CCO of SNKR INC. and founder and CCO of Fluent – a venture-building innovation studio with the cultural impact of a lifestyle brand. And despite all the accolades that have come with Brandon’s success, including Ad Age 40 Under 40, when you meet Brandon you’ll realize he’s just a big kid with a big laugh and an even bigger heart.
Lisa Smith Head Design Evangelist Jones Knowles Ritchie Lisa Smith is an Executive Creative Director at Jones Knowles Ritchie, with 19 years of experience from small boutiques to larger creative agencies; she's also had experience working in-house at one of London’s largest museums of art and design, the V&A, and most recently building and leading the creative team to re-imagine the Chobani brand across all things design, packaging, digital, advertising, experiential, partnerships and innovation.
Jahan Mantin Head Design Evangelist Project Inkblot Spanning over 15 years experience in strategy, sales, facilitation and writing/ editing, Jahan began a career in publishing as an Account Manager for Time Out New York before moving on to the editorial side as the Associate Editor for Beyond Race magazine. Prior to Project Inkblot, Jahan co-founded an arts and social impact online publication managing a team of 15 contributors where she produced, edited and/or wrote over 100 articles/multimedia content interviewing social entrepreneurs with a global impact including Boushra Almutawakel, the first woman Yemeni photographer, and author and food activist, Bryant Terry. Jahan is also the co-creator/executive producer of Fit the Description, a video interview series between Black male civilians and Black male officers sharing their personal experiences with, and within, law enforcement. Using strategy, empathy and design principles, Jahan co-designed and co-facilitated an accompanying interactive workshop to engage audiences in conversations around identity, leading events at spaces from Neuehouse to Fordham University. Jahan earned a B.A. in Communications and Culture from Clark University and is the recipient of the Kate Spade and Company Fellowship at the New Museum Incubator, NEW INC. An avid traveler, Jahan has lived in farreaching locales from Colombia to Scotland. She is a proud native New Yorker and currently resides in Brooklyn.
Zipeng Zhu Head Design Evangelist Dazzle Studio Zipeng Zhu is a Chinese-born designer, art director, illustrator and animator in New York City who wants to make everyday a razzle-dazzle musical. After he graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, he has worked at Pentagram and Sagmeister & Walsh.
