The Tribe is excited to announce that construction of the new Tribal Services Center has begun this week, and as a result, all tribal departments and staff currently located at the existing Tribal Office and Finance Building will soon be relocating to temporary office spaces. The relocation is expected to be substantially completed by July 27, 2026. As a tribal member, we want to ensure that you are informed in advance of this moveout date, and are informed of where the Tribe’s essential government services will be located during construction. Beginning on or around July 27, 2026, the following departments will be relocated to the old Flandreau Motors Building at 1000 W. Pipestone Avenue, Flandreau, SD 57028: Cannabis Commission Communications Department of Natural Resources Enrollment Executive Assistant Front Desk Finance Fleet/Transportation Grants Human Resources Maintenance Membership Services Tobacco Tribal Administrator The remaining tribal departments detailed below will be relocated to temporary office trailers at the RV Park next to the Royal River Casino & Hotel: IT Legal Office of Social Services Tribal Police Please note each office trailer will be visibly marked with signage noting which department is housed in each of the trailers so that visiting community members will know which trailer to enter for any specific questions or assistance.- 1 These temporary office locations will allow the Tribe to continue its government operations with minimal interruptions while we make way for the new Tribal Services Center that will better serve Tribal Members for generations to come. As part of this relocation, the Tribe also anticipates hosting a Cash & Carry Event in late July, where Tribal members will have an opportunity to purchase surplus office furniture, equipment, and other items.
