According to the Minnehaha County Assessor this land has an overall soil rating of .548, comparatively info. obtained from Surety Agri Data, Inc. indicates this land has a soil rating of 59.3. The topography of this land ranges from level to gently rolling to rolling, with some low lying pockets and drainageways. This property may have some prospects for future potential excavation of gravel or other aggregates, as there previously was material mined from an area within this property. This land has good location near Valley Springs, SD and is bordered on the east by 488th Ave. (the SD/MN State Line) and on the north by 261st St. and within ½ mile of a hardsurfaced highway at Valley Springs, SD and within 1 ½ miles of Hwy. #105 that is located west of the property and the nearby Valley Springs/Garretson Exit #410 on I-90. This property is conveniently located to area communities and a short commute within 15 miles of Sioux Falls, SD. The Board of Trustees of the City of Egan, South Dakota met in regular session on November 17, 2021 at the Egan City Hall, 110 W 3rd Street, Egan, SD.
