CELEBRATE THE 4th OF JULY ON THE MOODY COUNTY MUSEUM GROUNDS Please Join us for the Annual Summerfest celebration (July 4th Good Old Summertime Festival) will be held at the Moody County Museum grounds on Sunday, July 4th from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. There is no admission for the event. Church service will be at the Riverbend Meeting House from 9:30am – 10:00am. During the festival, picnic on the museum grounds by choosing from the different vendors that will have food there such as, Indian Tacos, Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Rice, Annie’s Famous Eggrolls & Shish Kabobs *Eggrolls, Pork & Chicken Kabobs. Enjoy the family-oriented entertainment on the Band-shell stage with music by Amy Ellsworth, Timothy Bellot and the Flandreau City Band. The Moody County Historical Society will raffle off a framed and certified Terry Redlin print (Lights Of Home) at the Festival on July 4th of this year. Raffle tickets cost $1 each or $5 for 6. Tickets can be purchased at the First National Bank or the Moody County Museum. Tickets can also be purchased at the event on July 4th. The raffle drawing will be held at 1:30pm at the Flandreau Bandshell. Those with tickets do not need to be present to win, so please write clearly on the tickets so we can contact the winner if they are not present.
