PUBLIC NOTICE In accordance with Title 5 – Public and Private Nuisances: Property owners must remove noxious weeds and unhealthful vegetation from the property within a reasonable time after the growth of the vegetation on any property within the City of Flandreau. Also present was City Finance Officer Karen Gundvaldson. The proposed agenda was reviewed. Motion by Pesall and seconded by Tufty to adopt the proposed agenda. Mark Ekern was declared elected as Alderman for Ward One for a four-year term. There being no contest for Alderman in Ward One, Karen Tufty, having filed a nominating petition for the two-year term, was declared elected as Ward One Alderman for a two-year term. There being no contest for Alderman in Ward Two, Michael T. Fargen, having filed a nominating petition for the four-year term, was declared elected as Ward Two Alderman for a four-year term. There being no contest for Alderman in Ward Three, Brad Bjerke, having filed a nominating petition for the four-year term, was declared elected as Ward Three Alderman for a four-year term. Motion by Pesall and seconded by Bjerke to approve the Poll Books. The following members voted aye: Bjerke, Pesall, Sutton, and Tufty. Nays: None. Absent: Unger and Whitman. Motion carried.
