Wow! There really are no words. Thank you so much to everyone that came to the farm on 4/21.

I am humbled and grateful beyond belief.

It started out as a typical normal day. We decided to clean-up a grain bin that morning. We have done that chore so many times before. I made one wrong step and fell forward into the sweep auger.

A call to 911 and it wasn’t long before Mike Ellefson arrived. Shortly after came members of Flandreau fire department, Trent fire, Flandreau ambulance, Sanford AirMed and so many dear neighbors!

Thanks Nick LeBrun for giving Larry a ride to Sioux Falls.

Everyone has been so helpful. I am so blessed for all the cards, calls, visits, and delicious food. I also appreciate the offer for rides to doctor appts and garden/lawn help. Our family is so lucky to be blessed with the most generous neighbors, friends, and family! You all went above and beyond, and I am touched and grateful. You have no idea how much your help has meant. The care and kindness you have shown our family will never be forgotten.

The newly built FSST Health Center is looking for a FT dedicated Dental Assistant (40 hours per week). Provide chair side assistance to dentists performing basic dental procedures, and x-rays. Also assists dentists in all aspects and specialties of dentistry, endodontic, periodontics, and prosthodontics, maxillofacial prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial in an outpatient setting. Prepares operatives for patient care and prepares patient for treatment. Educates patient in basic are of prosthodontics appliances. Provides post treatment by as directed by dentist. Provides routine maintenance on dental equipment and instruments. Cleans, disinfects and sterilizes surfaces. Prepares sterile trays, packs and sutures. Properly orders, stores and maintains adequate supplies.

The ideal candidate for this position has an orthodontic background and working with patients of all ages.

This position is FT-40 hours a week. As directed and supervised by the CHR Supervisor, the Community Health Representative performs a variety of activities to assist, coordinate and provide for the delivery of efficient and effective Patient Centered health care services within the Tribal community in accordance with established program policies, standards, procedures and compliance with local, Tribal, state and federal regulations. Provides transportation services for health care appointments, preventative health education as well as in-home care/visits as requested or referred by the Tribal health providers. Daily input into the Patient Care compo- Education/experience: nent system. Patient advocate.

Successful completion of a dental assistant program. 2+ years’ experience as a DenMinimum Education, Experience & Qualifications: tal Assistant. Brief Summary:

The Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for providing five star-rated quality health care, housing and community based services to incapacitated individuals and older genera;ons by helping residents live the lives that most inspire them. This Nursing Home will offer many services including Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The Nursing Home Administrator will oversee daily func;ons of our senior care community and lead staff, build referral rela;onships, and market services. Our ideal candidate has an ac;ve administrator’s license, leadership experience in older adult services and cultural sensi;vity knowledge about Na;ve Americans is highly preferred. We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to serving older adults, excellent people and financial management skills, and the ability to interface effec;vely with families and residents. This person will also have excellent leadership skills and the ability to mo;vate, and develop employees at all levels at our campus.

Minimum Educa<on, Experience & Qualifica<ons: • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administra;on, Public Health Administra;on or other closely related field. Master’s Degree highly preferred.

• Must have a minimum of five to seven years experience in a management or leadership capacity with a strong desire to lead through and with others using interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement. Knowledge and promo;on of tribal culture sensi;vity and understanding is important with this posi;on.
