An Open Le.er to the families of all Moody County Veterans;

It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to temporarily suspend military funeral honors during these trying Bmes. The dedicated men and women of our Honor Guard take great pride in providing these rights to all of our area veterans, whom have paid the last full measure. However out of an abundance of cauBon, and in consultaBon with Mike Skroch, we have decided for the safety of our grieving families and the safety of our Honor Guard Veterans, the best course of acBon at this Bme is to suspend performing military funeral honors unBl the COVID19 public health crisis has come to an end.

Trent Pool Closed 2020 Season In order to keep our community safe our pool and park will be closed for the 2020 season and we will not be conducting our annual Beach Bash. Thank you to our patrons for the support. We wish you all a safe Summer!

Our veterans have earned these rights with their devoBon to duty. Thus, our Honor Guard members would be more than honored to conduct military funeral honors for any family at a later date, when the current pandemic has passed.

We live in historic Bmes that almost no one could have predicted. We very much appreciate your understanding. Please know we stand ready, able, and willing to provide every veteran with a final salute, and to support every veteran’s family, once the health and safety of everyone can be assured. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any Bme – we are here to serve our veterans!

Sincerely,
