Chief Krull, FVFD, informed Council of a firefighter injury that happened during training last month. He indicated fire calls are down. He also shared that the department has received the new gear that was budgeted for 2018. Mayor Bonrud shared that he had met with the mayor from Bismarck, North Dakota who was in Flandreau last week. City Administrator shared that he met with Clark Engineering last week to discuss a change in Bid Alternate #2 which replaces water and sewer lines on 3rd Avenue and Pipestone Avenue from Veterans Street to 13th Street, as referred to in the item in the Council packet. Discussion took place regarding the change in the sewer line replacement in this part of the project. He discussed the letter from the Department of Revenue pertaining to changes in the liquor laws that take effect after July 1st, 2018. A Planning and Zoning meeting will take place on April 9th for variances associated with the construction of an attached and an unattached garage.
