Who is eligible?

The bivalent Moderna or Pfizer vaccines are authorized as a single booster dose in individuals 6 months of age and older.

Both are approved as a single booster dose at least 2 months following a primary series or a monovalent booster vaccination.

A bivalent COVID-19 booster dose can be coadministered with other vaccines, including a flu shot

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Tribal President, the Chief Human Resources Officer (“CHRO”) is responsible for strategically managing and leading the Human Resources and employees benefit functions of the Tribe, the Tribe’s Health Clinic, and all Tribal Businesses. The CHRO plans and implements Human Resource and employee benefit policies, and updates them periodically. CHRO ensures that all organizational personnel actions are carried out properly, strictly adhering to tribal and federal laws, and ethical standards. The position also ensures that employee benefits are actively managed and compliant.

LICENSES

- Possess a current and valid State driver's license with a record acceptable to FSST’s Insurance carrier.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in management or human resources plus four (4) years relevant experience preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree.

- Any combination of related education and/or related experience will be considered if the candidate possesses the demonstrated ability.

Mayor Sutton reported that he and Administrator Cohl Turnquist will be attending several upcoming meetings, including the Fire Station Task Force, Housing Authority Board, and the Boys and Girls Club Town Hall. Mayor Sutton thanked City Crews for their hard work in snow removal after the recent storms.

City Administrator Cohl Turnquist stated that the scheduled pipeline meeting with the County Commissioners has been moved to Thursday January 5th. Turnquist also informed Council he will be advertising for another Apprentice Lineman to join the Electric Department. Turnquist also praised the Public Works Department for their efforts in snow removal. He is encouraging residents to keep their vehicles off the street, if possible, which will assist City Crews with the snow cleanup.

New Business: Discussion was had on the Fire Station Loan Closing Date and Documents. First Savings Bank will be providing construction financing of $1,550,750, which will then be converted to permanent financing of approximately $775,000 from each First Savings Bank and Rural Development. The interest rates on the permanent financing will be 3.77% from First Savings Bank and 2.5% from Rural Development. Turnquist noted that no interest payments will occur until the loan has been drawn down. No Council Action is needed at this time.
