The Moody County Historical Society will have the Annual Meeting on January 9th, 2022 at 2:00PM, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church; 505 South Wind Street. Flandreau, SD 57028. Storyteller, film-maker and live streaming producer/director, Rick Lingberg, will be giving a presentation titled “COVID Dogfight – The Old Guys & Their Airplanes: Debrief Story” at the Moody County Historical Society’s Annual Meeting January 9, at 2:00 PM at the Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Flandreau, South Dakota. Rick is a founding member of the award winning Old Guys & Their Airplanes (OGTA) production team. OGTA is a small clan of writers, producers, director-types who rally around the idea the “old guys” (military aviators – fighters, bombers, helicopters, missile operators, etc. - who’ve been inside the crucible of conflict and have especially interesting stories to tell. Rick will share many of the stories from OGTA’s productions and explain how they navigated and flourished in what he calls the “COVID Dogfight”.
