Council President Dan Sutton stated that the Hospital Board will be making board member appointments at their August 15th meeting and he invited interested Council Members to consider serving on their hospital board. He also stated that Scott Hargens has been hired as the hospital administrator.

The City Administrator informed Council that the Mayor is at a disaster drill at the airport. He reminded Council that the August 1st Council Meeting will be held at The Secret Garden, the August 15th Council Meeting will be held at the Japanese Gardens, and a budget work session is scheduled for August 16th. He told Council that Tom Hansen should have cost estimates for the Crescent Street project soon.

Motion by Pesall and seconded by Smith to approve the Administrative Reports. The following members voted aye: Pesall, Sample, Smith, Sutton and Tufty. Nays: None. Absent: Bjerke. Motion carried.
