Recommends for action, maintains and updates policies and procedures and presents to Gaming Commission for approval. This position works closely with the Gaming Commission, Surveillance, Security and any other outside agencies as required by the Gaming Ordinance and MICs. The Gaming Commission Executive Director drafts agenda’s for meetings with the Gaming Commission and is responsible for identifying when Casino Operations staff have not been following procedures. This position is expected to be fluent in Microsoft applications, photo processing as well as electronic imaging systems. This position will serve as representative to the Gaming Commission, process gaming applications, and meet/communicate with gaming employees of their licensing status. This position is also expected to maintain the confidentiality of the gaming applicants and their files. Education and Qualifications: Position requires High school Diploma or GED; a degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Management or five (5) years successful experience in management and supervision strongly preferred. Requires at least one year regulatory experience in Indian Gaming, and must have served in a supervisory or policy making position in Indian Gaming for two years or more. Applicant must be able to successfully meet the requirements to obtain a Key Gaming license and be proficient in Microsoft applications.
