This position will monitor and evaluate daily activities within the Royal River Casino for compliance to all Federal, Tribal Laws, Ordinances and Regulations. DENR RECOGNIZES CITY OF FLANDREAU FOR DRINKING WATER COMPLIANCE PIERRE – The South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) announced today that the City of Flandreau public water system and the system’s operation specialists have been awarded a Drinking Water Certificate of Achievement Award. “We cannot live without water; it is just that simple,” said DENR Secretary Steve Pirner. “With these awards, DENR salutes the best-of-the-best drinking water systems and operation specialists who deliver water every day to their customers. The City of Flandreau has successfully met all of the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act all year long.” The system’s operation specialists are Akamu Barboza, Larry Pitsenberger and Russell Kneebone.
