THANK YOU
Thank you to our friends, family and community members who showed their love and support to our family in the loss of Ronald “Ron” Gilbert. Whether it was sending a card, providing food, sending flowers, making a monetary donation, being present during the wake and/or services, sharing thoughtful words and/or memories, providing a hug or an expression of sympathy, it provided tremendous comfort and strength to our family. We would also like to offer a special thank you to the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Care Center who compassionately cared for Ron throughout his journey, to Redwing Thomas for his heartfelt officiating, to the Mato Pejuta Drum Group for their powerful music, the Flandreau Tribal Clinic & Staff for their ongoing care and compassion, to the Flandreau Tribal Office for their generosity, to the Skoch Funeral Chapel for their guidance, to the Royal River Casino & Restaurant for their kindness and food, and to the Flandreau Flower Shoppe for their beautiful floral arrangements. We will forever be grateful for everyone’s thoughtfulness during this difficult time. May Ron’s spirit continue to be with all of us.
