Open: October 17, 2016 - Closes: October 28, 2016 This position serves as a specialist/integrator in the implementation and ongoing support of multi-service clinical software applications used in the clinical setting for the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Clinic. The multi-service applications that support Meaningful Use and the Indian Health Service Electronic Health Record (EHR) are defined as but not limited to, Patient Care Component (PCC), Text-Integration (TIU), Case Management, Health Summary and View Patient Record (VPR). The duties involve serving as a coordinator for these packages, consulting with the service lines and their staff in customizing software and training individuals in the daily operation of the packages as well as how the packages integrate with each other. The incumbent also works with other application coordinators with responsibility for a broad range of activities surrounding the implementation of a comprehensive, standardized integrated health care information system as well as general I.T. issues.

Qualifications & Education: Must have the required licensure, registration, certification appropriate to your clinical discipline (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge and skill in RPMS clinical software application. Demonstrated knowledge in providing patient care related training. Two (2 )or more years’ experience in clinical applications support in the health care industry or a degree in Medical Informatics or appropriate education. Serving the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe and other eligible native clients. Our vision is to help Native clients manage and/or become more aware of behavioral health and chemical dependency issues. Encouragement and support include but are not limited to promoting mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing. Responsibilities, to provide professional individual and family counseling services to assigned clients on an as needed basis.

Provide leadership during emergency/emotional situations and to keep electronic health records current.
