City Administrator Pederson reported residents have been contacted if they are affected by the Flandreau Dam Renovations Study. Chief Weber will be attending the FBI Supervisory Leadership Academy September, 24-28th 2018 in Minneapolis, MN. City Administrator Pederson will also be attending the International City Management Association Annual Conference on September, 22-26th 2018. Community Clean-up had a high participation with completion to take place Wednesday, September, 19th 2018, Pederson requested Mayor Bonrud to make a Motion for a monetary contribution to Det. 1 of the 1742nd Transportation Co. of S.D. Army National Guard.

Motion by Whitman and Seconded by Bjerke to approve the monetary donation of $750 to the Det. 1 of the 1742nd Transportation Co. of S.D. Summary: The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial investments and management; the annual audit process, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, banking and long term debt management and supervision of accounting and finance staff. Provides assistance in the development, planning, evaluation and coordination of activities related to youth education and youth program development. Targets FSST enrolled youth and children of FSST members to recruit into higher education programs and universities, tutoring or other related assistance. Supervises one permanent employee and temporary Summer Youth Coordinators when the Summer Youth Program is active.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required with Education focus preferred, 2-3 years of experience with higher education programs, grant writing, scholarships, JOM or other similar related duties strongly preferred.
