THANK YOU

It is hard to find the words to adequately thank all our friends and family for their care and concern during the many months of Roger’s illness and during his time of passing. We appreciated all the prayers, calls, cards, visits, hugs, food, memorials and flowers. Thank you to Pastor Ann for her beautiful tribute to Roger, to Julie Jones for the inspiring piano music, to the ladies from PW who served the lunch, to Cole, Donna and Mike from Skrochs for their assistance, to the wonderful staff of Flandreau Avera Hospital for their compassion and professional care. God sent his angels to get us through this and we will never forget them! Love you all!

Family of Roger Hurley THANK YOU

Words cannot express the gratitude that helped us make it through this tragedy. Thank you to all who made our grieving bearable. Special thank you to our friends, neighbors and family members, Colman EMTs, Moody Co Law, Father Shane Stevens, Mike Skroch, and St Peter’s Altar Society. Denny is no longer in pain but left us with broken hearts.

God Bless all of you!

THANK YOU!!

Senate Bill 201 will be referred to the November 2024 ballot

We did it!! The official numbers at the South Dakota Secretary of State office reports 34,091 signatures were submitted and valid signatures were estimated at 31,432 or 92.2%. (Only 17,508 signatures were needed to meet the guidelines for the bill to be referred.) This is great; a SOS employee said it was an unheard of percentage. SB 201 will be referred to the people in the November 2024 election; it will be titled Referred Law 21 on the ballot. We have more work to do, but for now we want to say ‘Thank You’ to all the Moody County petition captains, circulators and signers of the petitions to get SB 201 referred. SB 201 is a bill passed by the South Dakota legislature in March titled ‘An Act to provide new statutory requirements for regulating linear transmission facilities, to allow counties to impose a surcharge on certain pipeline companies, and to establish a landowner bill of rights.’

This is not a bill of rights. This bill should never have been passed or signed into law. For more information on SB 201 and RL21 go to ‘SDnotforsale.com’.
