In addition, bid openings for the next phase of the water and sewer line replacements and Phase 3 of the electric upgrade and burying project will take place the following Wednesday, March 15th. All four bid items will be on the agenda for award by Council at the March 20th meeting. The street light project is progressing with approximately four more lights to be moved and set up; the contractor still has to return and finish their work. The City Administrator shared that he met with Chief Krull earlier today who informed him that First National Bank is donating $10,000 to the FVFD sometime after January 1st, 2018. The FVFD would like to put $20,000 toward the purchase of the newer ladder truck with the City and Tribe splitting the balance or paying $12,500 each. Chief Krull would like to be on the agenda for the next Council meeting to discuss this and the ISO rating letter recently received.
