Montpelier Villa AFC Men's vs Arundel
The season is a long one and we have already had a few bumps in the road but my faith hasn't faultered at any stage.
This group of players are by far one of the best I have managed and with the right support we can guide them through those moments
To say we was disappointed after our cup exit, the players showed great maturity to put Mile Oak to the sword in the league after losing to them on penalties the week before
Craig at Arundel is a top manager and has done very well in his time at the club. I know this game they will be right up it after taking only a point off us last season.
We will have to raise our game again today and show we have what it takes to stay competing at the top end of the table
Let's see how far we can take this group #UTV

What a great weekend for the club. Its important to savour weekends like this because we all know they don't come around too often
Sunday felt like the perfect day and the perfect performance at the perfect time.
Two early goals from Tara and Saskia put our nerves at ease but we knew Eastbourne weren't going to give up their place in this competition lightly and what followed for the remainder of Sunday was a thoroughly measured and professional performance.
One thing I have never lacked is ambition and belief in this squad and if you saw how we played Sunday, you'd understand why
October has three different cup competitions waiting for us including a home tie against Denham United in the FA Cup but the focus will be one game at a time starting with Bognor away in the league tomorrow
SKIP KELLY WOMEN'S MANAGERArundel Football Club is a football club based in Arundel, West Sussex, England. They are currently members of the Southern Combination Division 1 and play at Mill Road.
The club was established in 1889. They were founder members of the West Sussex Football League in 1896 and were placed in the Senior Division. They remained in the league until joining the Sussex County League in 1949. When the league gained a second division in 1952, they were placed in Division One. In 1957-58 they won Division One, and retained the title the following season.
In 1965–66 they club finished second-from-bottom of Division One and were relegated to Division Two. However, they made an immediate return to Division One as Division Two runners-up the following season, and went on to finish as Division One runners-up in 1968–69. This was repeated in the mid-1970s, when relegation in 1975–76 was followed by promotion in 1976–77, a season in which the club also won the Division Two Cup. Another relegation in 1982–83 resulted in another immediate return to Division One as Division Two runners up in 1983–84, with the club going on to win their third title in 1986–87, also claiming the league's Challenge Cup. In 1997–98 they finished bottom of Division One and were relegated to Division Two. Two seasons later they finished as runners-up in Division Two to earn promotion back to Division One.
In 2003–04 they won the Challenge Cup, and in 2008–09 finished as Division One runners-up. In 2013 the ground remained under water for months due to floods which hit southern England this caused massive damage and nearly finished the club, but we survived to fight another day. In 2015 the league was renamed the Southern Combination, with Division One becoming the Premier Division. Arundel, however, unfortunately couldn't avoid being relegated in the season 2018-19 after finishing second from bottom in the league, and now play in county league Division 1.
