Manager's Notes
I have been at the club now nearly 8 years and have fulfilled many roles throughout my time but last season was certainly the biggest challenge I have taken on since I became a coach after my playing career came to an end due to injury.
Some people don't quite know what goes into taking a club from park football into the football pyramid whilst renting our ground Lots of great work has been done by the club over the years but in recent times we have struggled to put the right infrastructure in place as well as having a clear strategy both on and off the pitch

Over the last 12 months we have worked so hard to hopefully give us a chance to compete whilst entertaining people with the 'Villa Way'
Preseason was good and we took that momentum into our first game against Dorking Wanderers B taking away an important opening day win. Wick FC will be tough and I am sure they will show why they got to the play offs final last season tonight at Culver Road
