The club, established in 1892, joined the Mid-Sussex League and became Division Two champions in 1951–52. They won Division Four in 1959–60 and an emergency Division Three competition in 1962–63.
Subsequent achievements include being Division Three champions in 1971–72 and winning the Mowatt Cup multiple times. After a rise through the divisions starting in 2000–01, they faced relegations in 2010–11 and 2011–12 but returned to the Championship in 2013–14 and earned promotion back to the Premier Division in 2015. Most recently, they were promoted to Division One of the Southern Combination League after finishing fourth in the 2020–21 season.
