Salutations, monsters! I am Mikayla Franco, your Bulletin Editor for S.Y. ‘25–’26! It is such an honor to become the new LCKC bulletin editor, as Jia really set the standard for the cutest newsletters ever. I hope to improve my writing and designing skills as I progress with making newsletters. As summer is approaching, this school year is also coming to an end. We will miss our senior monsters so much, and we wish them the best of luck! I will do my best to update everyone with our club progression, and I also hope the best for everyone as finals and AP exams are approaching. We can do this, monsters!

Hey Monsters! Now that the weather is getting warmer, summer break is almost here! But that also means finals season is coming up first… As you’re all preparing for the end of the year (myself included), I want to wish everyone the best of luck on their exams! While I understand this can be a stressful time, please remember to take care of yourself too — and I know just the way! Our end-of-the-year banquet! One great way to de-stress is by looking forward to our potluck celebration to recognize all that we’ve accomplished together this past year. You heard it here first! More information will be coming out soon… Good luck on finals and happy summer! :)

Hihi Monsters! My name is Nanda Battushig, and I will be proudly serving YOU as your President for the ‘25-‘26 term!
First off, I want to say thank you for trusting me with this role. This club has been a space of creativity, connection, and chaotic fun, and I’m beyond excited to keep that energy going while also pushing us to grow even bigger and better together. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or just joined last week, know that your voice matters here!

This upcoming year, I’m dedicated to making sure we create events, meetings, and moments that feel meaningful where everyone feels seen, heard, has fun, and inspired to contribute their service in our homes, schools, and communities. Expect more collabs, more communitybuilding, and yes… more snacks!!
Let’s build a community where everyone feels empowered to lead, create, and, most importantly, just be themselves. I’m so excited for the journey ahead, and I truly believe we can create such a memorable year!

APRIL 12 2025| Elk Grove, CA
“Easter at E2 was a super fun event to volunteer at! When I first got there, I was a little nervous about getting lost or having no idea what to do… However, everyone there was extremely nice and helpful, and me and my friends easily found our way to the place where we needed to carry out our volunteer assignment. Our task was to assist in setting up an easter egg hunt, which basically consisted of us placing eggs all across the football field that we were in. After that, we had to make sure no one stepped onto the field until it was time to start the egg hunt. Our job went smoothly, and before I knew it, we were already done with everything. Since me and my friends were volunteers, we were able to get free shaved ice, which was super delicious and perfect for the hot weather. Overall, Easter at E2 was an amazing experience that I really enjoyed!”

DCON 2025
April 25-27| Ontario, CA
DCON 2025, The district convention, 3 day long event held in Ontario, California ending the 24-25 term!! This was my first year attending district convention in Ontario and definitely wont be my last. This was such a fun way to interact and connect with other members and officers throughout the CNH district. Super fun workshops from planning service projects to playing bee-go, spirit battles within many regions across each division in the CNH district, and of course gov ball, which was super fun!!! In addition, we were able to celebrating accomplishments and meeting the new 25-26 district board at the end of the last general session. What a super fun way to wrap up the 24-25 term, im super excited to see what the next 25-26 term has to offer for us!!
