mornings. Eggs are quick and delicious, and they can be prepped a day prior. Eggs can be baked in the oven at 350 degrees in a cookie sheet. Simply crack the eggs, add a bit of salt and pepper then bake for ﬁfteen minutes. Voila! Breakfast for the week. Simple, fast and efﬁcient.

One Week Of Healthy Meals, With Minimal Effort We all know that the week can get hectic, with work and whatever life can throw at you. In between the chaos is it important to provide a healthy yet hearty meal for your family. American household spend $70,000 on takeout annually. With such a high number, saving money is also a dire reason that cooking at home is healthy as well as frugal. The key to a week of healthy meals is choosing two days to cook and prep your food for break, lunch, or dinner. Whether it is all three meals or one, the choice is up to you. Let’s begin with the ﬁrst meal of the day. Breakfast. The meal that gets you energized and ready for the day ahead. Though this meal is the most important of the day, it is often the one that is most skipped. Grab and go options typically tend to be the best for those busy

Lunch and dinner can be a more complicated meal, since they tend to require more ingredients and prep time. Chopped salads and soups are always excellent options with minimal prep time. For lunch, grab and go; just like breakfast is a great option. A chopped salad with fresh in season fruits and or vegetables can be stored in Tupperware and ready to go in seconds. Dinner can be prepped and stored in the freezer. Crock-pot meals are always the way to go for a fast meal. One easy meal is Teriyaki Chicken. All you need is ﬁve chicken breasts, teriyaki sauce, water, brown sugar and three cloves of garlic. All of these can be added to a Ziploc bag, kept frozen then added to a crock pot for four hours. Prepped and ready to eat! Make sure to mush the ingredients in the bag together so the ﬂavors fuse together. Thaw out the freezer meals in the fridge overnight so they are

easier to cook. We cannot forget about snacks! Throughout the day, we all look forward to that midday snack. Homemade oatmeal energy balls and grab and go granola bars are the perfect quick ﬁx until the time dinner arrives. All you need is steel cut oatmeal (1 cup), shredded coconut (1 cup), half cup of peanut butter and 1/3 cup of mini chocolate chips and honey. Combine all these ingredients, scoop into a ball, store in fridge and they are ready to eat. You can make as many as you want to last you through your week. What Happens to my NonTrust Assets After I am Gone? If you have established a Revocable Living Trust, you have two (2) types of assets: Trust assets (assets held in the name of the Trust) and non-Trust assets (assets that have been intentionally or unintentionally excluded from the Trust). In general, once you die, the terms of your Trust will dictate how your Trust assets will be distributed. But what happens to your non-Trust assets? Some assets are intentionally excluded from a Revocable Living Trust including, but not limited to, retirement accounts (IRAs, 401ks, etc.) and life insurance policies. Upon your death, these assets will be distributed to your designated beneﬁciaries. However, complications arise if you have not designated beneﬁciaries. For example, if you have a $500,000 retirement account and you

used to transfer real property. Additionally, using these Affidavits can be difficult as some financial institutions are reluctant to accept them, which can make the transfer cumbersome and time consuming.

do not designated beneficiaries, then this retirement account may need to be probated! Some assets are unintentionally excluded from a Revocable Living Trust. We have met with many clients tell us that there house is in their trust. However, when we pull their grant deed, we discover that the house is not in their Trust. (Note: this occasionally occurs if you refinanced your home and your lender required you to transfer your home out of your Trust). Real property that has been unintentionally excluded from your Trust may need to be probated! There are certain exceptions to this general rule, however, fixing this mistake can be very costly and time consuming to your beneficiaries.

When preparing your estate plan, think carefully about your Trust assets and non-Trust assets. Make sure to carefully consider how your non-Trust assets will be transferred to your beneﬁciaries following your death. If you are concerned about a particular asset, you should consult with an attorney to ensure that your assets will easily and seamlessly transfer from you to your beneﬁciaries following your passing.

During a trust administration, we sometimes discover that some assets were: 1) never transferred to the Trust; and 2) did not have designated beneficiaries. The legal question becomes, how do we transfer the asset from your name to your beneficiaries or legal heirs? In California, if the total value of all non-Trust assets is $150,000 or less, we can use an Affidavit for Collection of Personal Property to transfer the assets to those individuals who have a legal right to inherit the assets. However, these Affidavits CANNOT be

The following process will take you step by step to restore your professional life back into the powerhouse you once were! First, we must figure out the reason you

are going down this tunnel in the first place. If you don’t like your job then you NEED to find one that stirs passion within you but this article is addressing those of us who love what we do but for some reason all of a sudden we are just not able to push ourselves to be the most successful we can be. Along with this lack of motivation will come a feeling of disappointment with oneself and a puzzlement of where your determination has gone.
