Meth Mouth Methamphetamine abuse is becoming increasingly prevalent and has devastating effects on its users. It is a highly addictive drug and stimulates the brain by enhancing the mood and intensifying body movements. The typical meth abuser uses the drug more than 20 times per month than the typical patterns of abuse in other illegal drugs such as cocaine. Meth abuse was originally believed to be concentrated in rural areas but now it has been reported as the drug of choice in urban areas as well. Meth use has been most pronounced among males between ages of 19 and 40. Meth has both short and long term effects on the body. Short-term effects include euphoria, increase in energy, loss of appetite, sleeplessness, tremors, nausea, vomiting, seizures and unpredictable behavior. Long-term effects are high blood pressure, brain damage, skin and heart infections, hepatitis, stroke,
Meth causes a lot of damage in the mouth such as rapid increase in cavities, dry mouth, bad breath, wearing of teeth, teeth fractures, uncontrollable jaw clinching and multiple tooth loss. The cavities can be so rapid that the teeth may be destroyed forcing the patient to end up in dentures. Danger to the teeth also comes from increase in the intake of sugars due to carbohydrate craving while using the drug. Patients who abuse meth usually do not maintain oral hygiene, which adds to the rapid increase in cavities and gum infections. Soft tissues in the mouth also get infected with candida, which causes fungal infection all over the mouth. Meth abuse is on the increase and it does so much destruction to the entire body. As discussed earlier meth does alot of destruction to the teeth but getting a complete dental exam from the dentist will help to take care of the dental issues. Meth users may be reluctant to admit it’s use and the addiction can occur rapidly so the treatment could be long and slow but

3 Ways To Be Even More Productive, Starting Now! There are just not enough hours in the day. Whether you are at work, on campus, or at home; there are many ways to stay productive through out your day. Productivity can be hard to manage, but with the correct mindset you will be able to set goals and achieve them on a daily basis. With these tips and tricks, your day will run smoother and you can end your day knowing you worked hard. The first thing to do is try and avoid multitasking. Many think that multitasking can help you achieve tasks more than once, but multitasking means that the effort put into these tasks can be less efficient. Multitasking can also cause huge distractions and cause you to forget what tasks you were even trying to focus on. The tip here is to tackle one task at a time before completing another. Find a quiet
spot or place that can help you focus, whether it is a quiet room in the house or even playing your favorite song to help you focus. The second is to shift most your workload to the beginning of the week, so you don’t push your tasks aside. It can be paperwork, filing, laundry or vacuuming. Try to get these things done earlier in the week so that the work load doesn’t pile on too close to the weekend. If writing everything down on a post it or setting reminders on your phone helps, then do that! Anything and everything can be the difference in spreading out your workload or having too much on your plate by the end of the week. Also, be accountable, tell family members and friends of your goals for the week and tell them the results. It will make you feel that much better that you could get things done. The final tip here is, turn off social media. As hard as this can be in a world dependent on technology, it can have huge results on your productivity. Checking in on apps such as Facebook and Twitter can take up a huge percentage of your day and time. Your phone or computer does not need to be completely turned off, but just try to ignore the apps during the day so you can

To fund your Trust, you or your attorney must re-title your assets to properly reflect that the asset has been transferred to your Trust. Are my Assets in my Trust? 1. Identify Your Trust Name – Every Trust has a name and establishment date. Generally, your Trust name and date will be included on the first page of your Trust. Read your name carefully. Every word is important! Here is an example. Let’s pretend my Trust name is Joan Grimes, Trustee of the Grimes Living Trust dated January 1, 2018.
3. Check Your Bank and Brokerage Statements – The easiest way to tell whether your bank or brokerage accounts have been transferred to your Trust, is to check the name in the top left corner (where your name and address are generally listed). Look to see if your Trust name is included. 4. Business Interests, LLCs – Depending on your circumstances, you may have assigned your business interest or LLC to your Trust. If you wish to assign your interest, you should discuss this with an attorney to ensure that the governing documents authorize the transfer. 5. Retirement Accounts and Life Insurance Policies – Retirement accounts and life insurance policies are not generally transferred into a Revocable Living Trust because it can trigger certain tax consequences (however, there are sometimes exceptions to this general
If your Trust has not been properly funded when you die, your beneficiaries may be required to open a probate to transfer the asset. Probates in California are very expensive and can often take over a year to complete. Check your assets to see if they have been properly transferred to your Trust! Some estate planning attorneys will fund your Trust for you. However, it is important to check all of your assets (particularly assets you have acquired since establishing your Trust) to ensure they have been properly transferred.
