Texas Porter High School Criminal Justice Students Weekly Collect Slippers for Hospital Children Gas Prices (December 7, 2020) Texas gas prices have risen 3.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.84/g t o d a y, a c c o r d i n g t o GasBuddy's daily survey of 13,114 stations. Gas prices in Texas are 7.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 36.0 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Texas is priced at $1.45/g today while the most expensive is $2.69/g, a difference of $1.24/g. The lowest price in the state today is $1.45/g while the highest is $2.69/g, a difference of $1.24/g.

The national average price of gasoline has risen 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.16/g today. The national average is up 5.7 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 42.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Neighboring areas and their current gas prices: Midland Odessa- $1.93/g, unchanged from last week's $1.93/g.

San Antonio- $1.75/g, up 7.1 cents per gallon from last week's $1.68/g.

Austin- $1.80/g, up 6.8 cents per gallon from last week's $1.73/g.

"With oil's rally to a new COVID-19 high-water mark, gas prices have begun to follow, even as gasoline demand crumbles to some of the lowest levels in months," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for G a s B u d d y. " O p t i m i s m continues to propel oil m a r k e t s h i g h e r, l e d b y positive news on a COVID-19 vaccine, but should anything change timing wise, we could a reversal, but for now it remains full steam ahead with markets focused on the promise of oil and gasoline demand rising, or the best potential outcome of the situation. Should the hype be overblown, a correction could happen in the weeks or months ahead. For now, motorists may see more volatility in oil markets then we've seen in months."

Students in the Porter High School Criminal Justice SkillsUSA Chapter 4049 collected more than $1,400 in value of new items to donate much needed items for inpatient c h i l d r e n a t Te x a s Children’s Hospital.

The students had a focus this year on kindness to others and doing community service. There were not a lot of opportunities for students

service and started thinking outside of the box,” said Jenna Lussier, Criminal Justice teacher and club sponsor.

Approximately 30 students are in the club which is led by Lussier and Criminal Justice teacher Jennifer Davis.

“My amazing students had an idea of creating the ‘Toasty Toes’ project,” said Lussier.

In just one month, the

students collected $1,400 f r o m f r i e n d s , f a m i l y, neighbors, and teachers to purchase slippers, socks, and sippy cups for the children in the hospital.

“I am grateful to see the students giving back and organizing themselves to help others,” said Lussier.

The items will be delivered to the hospital Dec. 12.

AG Paxton Sues Battleground States for Unconstitutional Changes to 2020 Election Laws A U S T I N – Te x a s Attorney General Ken Paxton today filed a lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the United States Supreme Court. The four states exploited the COVID19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes, thus skewing the results of the 2020 General Election. The battleground states flooded their people with unlawful ballot applications and ballots while ignoring statutory requirements a s to how they were received, evaluated and counted.

“Trust in the integrity of our election processes is sacrosanct and binds our citizenry and the States in this Union together.

Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin destroyed that trust and compromised the security and integrity of the 2020 election. The states violated statutes enacted by their duly elected legislatures, thereby violating the Constitution. By ignoring both state and federal law, these states have not only tainted the integrity of their own citizens’ vote, but of Texas and every other state that held lawful elections,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Their failure to abide by the rule of law casts a dark shadow of d o u b t o v e r the outcome of the entire election. We now ask that the Supreme Court step in to correct this egregious error.”

Elections for federal office must comport w i t h f e d e r a l constitutional standards. For presidential elections, each state must appoint its electors to the electoral college in a manner that complies with the Constitution.

The Electors Clause requirement that only state legislatures may set the rules governing the appointment of electors and elections and cannot be delegated to local officials. The majority of the rushed decisions, made by local o ff i c i a l s , w e r e n o t approved by the state legislatures, thereby circumventing the Constitution.

Suggestions For Mindful Eating: Baking Food for Thought Diana Anderson

There is no other time of the year when baking is at such a forefront in the kitchen. Much different from cooking, it requires precision and can be unforgiving and therefore intimidating. It requires patience, attention and a good recipe. You can’t really wing it with baking at least not in the beginning of the learning curve. Here are some tips to speed us along that curve.

Weigh your ingredients You wouldn’t believe how much can go wrong just because ingredients have been measured incorrectly. If you’re just a little bit out it can have a catastrophic effect on flavor and consistency, yet it’s one of the easiest things to get right. Using a food scale has been a game changer for me. Every time I dip a cup measurement in flour it can be a little off but that is completely covered with a food scale. You can choose the unit of measurement too so if you have a recipe that uses grams, no worries. In fact, it’s even more precise than ounces.

Keep a close eye on how much baking powder you add.

P a r t i c u l a r l y, w h e n adding too much, you’ll find yourself with something that rises and falls quickly and will end up drying out the cake. It’s a fantastic ingredient, but it needs to be treated with respect!

Pulse blend granulated sugar before using Outside the U.S. it’s called caster sugar and is recommended for baking.

The crystals are smaller than granulated sugar and incorporate better into any batter. Here we don’t have that offering but can make it by putting our granulated sugar in a blender for a full pulse or three – watch that

you don’t overdo and make powdered sugar. Speckled tops on cakes are usually caused by granulated sugar that has not properly dissolved in the mixture.

Don’t let toothpicks be your only guide Insert a toothpick into your cake, and if it comes out clean, it’s done. Right?

But experts agree that if the cake is not a golden color, it’s not cooked, even if that pick comes out clean.

Visually inspecting the cake, pushing on it lightly to see if it springs back and double-checking with a pick. Also, the cake should come slightly away from the pan. Use the time required in the recipe as a guide but be watchful toward the end for these signs. Not all ovens cook the same – some cook hotter than others.

Prevent soggy bottoms This is done by rolling out your pastry dough extra thin and blind baking it.

The combination will make sure the crust is cooked through and never soggy.

Blind baking means you partially or fully bake the crust before adding any filling (no blindfold required!). This helps ensure your crust is completely baked, so you won’t wind up with a soggy-bottom pie.

Blind baking requires you to line parchment paper on top of your crust and to use pie weights or something heavy to weigh down the crust as it bakes.

While your crust is in the oven, the fat melts and creates steam. That steam helps create a flaky crust, but it also causes air pockets to form. Using weights while blind baking will help prevent the bottom from puffing up and the sides from slumping down. Cook just until crust is turning golden. Any pie filling that requires a shorter cook time than its pastry needs a blind-baked crust. The technique is common in pies like: * custard pie * fruit pies * quiche

* pumpkin pie * cream pie * pudding pie Keep fruits and nuts from sinking If you are making a cake this holiday season that has dried fruits and nuts as an ingredient it’s best to cut them into smaller piecesquarters—and then rinse and dry them (if candied fruit). Smaller pieces of fruit (or nuts or chocolate) will stay suspended in cake batter ensuring even distribution. Even if your cake doesn’t call for fruit the addition of dried cherries using this tip is lovely for the holidays.

Use the right pan Just like my husband tells me he doesn’t have the right tool to fix a household problem the same is true in the kitchen. Different cakes require different pans

depending on the ingredients and how quickly you want the heat to get to the mix so don’t think you can pop just anything in a Bundt pan.

Always follow the recipe and be sure you have the right equipment.

Don’t bake on the top rack of the oven Bake cakes on the middle or lower racks of the oven. If cakes are baked too close to the top of the oven, they can form a peak or even a hard crust that can crack. Stick to the middle for nice, level cakes.

Soften butter fast Many recipes call for softened butter and most of the time you want to begin with it right out of the fridge. I can’t count the number of sticks I’ve melted trying to soften butter in the microwave.

Now I cut it into cubes and

then places it into a bowl of lukewarm water to sit for 10 minutes. Drain and then use the butter as normal.

(Be sure to measure your butter beforehand, though.)

Thin icing while you frost If you’ve ever started to frost your favorite bars or cakes only to find that your powdered sugar icing is too thick, just dip your knife or offset spatula in hot water.

It will help thick icing smooth out as you go.

Give bakes that finishing touch Just a bit of powdered sugar to finish is magic.

Use a wire mesh strainer or a shaker to dust a bit on top of a fruit tart or a pan full of brownies for a lovely presentation.

Wait a day to slice If you’re making a layer that requires you to slice each layer in half, many

bakers recommend waiting a day after baking. This not only allows the cakes to cool entirely, but you’ll have an easier time slicing, with fewer crumbs.

Frequently I will wrap a cake well and freeze it, even if for only a day to make it easier to work with and I think it makes it moister as well.

Stop grabbing the wrong pans This is a bit like we discussed above but comes with a tip to make sure an accident doesn’t happen.

Ever go to grab an eightinch cake pan only to find it’s actually 10 inches across? Take a permanent marker and writes the size in big numerals on the bottom side of the pan. This makes finding the right one simple. No more over—or under—filled pans again!

Daughters of the Confederacy Hold Chapter Meeting during Annual Christmas Luncheon Members of the Thomas Jefferson Stubbs 2523 Conroe chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, gathered on Dec. 5, 2020 at the home of Joan Tomlinson for their chapter meeting and annual Christmas lunch.

The house was beautifully decorated and filled with good conversation, laughter and delicious food. Several members read character parts from a playlet written

The True Story of Rudolph ‘The Red Nosed Reindeer’ Walden Happenings

W A L D E N HAPPENINGS Folks, A man named Bob May, depressed and brokenhearted, stared out his drafty apartment window into the chilling December night. His 4year-old daughter Barbara sat on his lap quietly sobbing. Bob's wife, Evelyn, was dying of cancer. Little Barbara couldn't understand why her mommy could never come home. Barbara looked up into her dad's eyes and asked, “Why isn't Mommy just like everybody else's Mommy?” Bob's jaw tightened and his eyes welled with tears. Her question brought waves of grief, but also of anger. It had been the story of Bob's life. Life always had to be different for Bob. Small when he was a kid, Bob was often bullied by other boys.

He was too little at the time to compete in sports. He was often called names he'd rather not remember. From childhood, Bob was different and never seemed to fit in. Bob did complete college, married his loving wife and was grateful to get his job as a copywriter at M o n t g o m e r y Wa r d during the Great Depression.

Then he was blessed with his little girl. But it was all short-lived.

Evelyn's bout with cancer stripped them of all their savings and now Bob and his daughter were forced to live in a two-

Bob struggled to give hope to his child, for whom he couldn't even afford to buy a Christmas gift.

But if he couldn't buy a gift, he was determined to make one - a storybook! Bob had created an animal character in his own mind and told the animal's story to little Barbara to give her comfort and hope.

Again, and again Bob told the story, embellishing it more with each telling. Who was the character? What was the story all about?

The story Bob May created was his own autobiography in fable form. The character he created was a misfit outcast like he was. The name of the character?

A little reindeer named Rudolph, with a big shiny nose. Bob finished the book just in time to give it to his

little girl on Christmas Day. But the story doesn't end there.

The general manager of Montgomery Ward caught wind of the little storybook and offered Bob May a nominal fee to purchase the rights to print the book. Wards went on to print, Rudolph, the RedNosed Reindeer and distribute it to children visiting Santa Claus in their stores.

By 1946, Wards had printed and distributed more than six million copies of Rudolph.

That same year, a major publisher wanted to purchase the rights from Wards to print an updated version of the book.

In an unprecedented gesture of kindness, the CEO of Wards returned all rights back to Bob May. The book became a best seller. Many toy and marketing deals followed and Bob May, now remarried with a growing family, became

wealthy from the story he created to comfort his grieving daughter. But the story doesn't end there either.

Bob's brother-inlaw, Johnny Marks, made a song adaptation to Rudolph.

Though the song was turned down by such popular vocalists as Bing Crosby and Dinah Shore, it was recorded by the singing cowboy, Gene Autry. “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” was released in 1949 and became a phenomenal success, selling more records than any other Christmas song, with the exception of “White Christmas”.

The gift of love that Bob May created for his daughter so long ago kept on returning back to bless him again and again. and Bob May learned the lesson, just like his dear friend Rudolph, that being different isn't so bad. In fact, being different can be a blessing.

5. All of the other reindeer - used to laugh and call him names 6.-They never let poor Rudolph play in any reindeer games.

9. Then all the reindeer loved him - as they shouted out with glee, 10. - Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history!

Folks, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (8/7c, CBS): "You'll go down in history." That lyric, the final line of the catchy title song, has

certainly come true.

First shown in 1964, making Rudolph the longest continuously running Christmas special to air annually, and a CBS staple since 1972, the beloved Rankin-Bass stopmotion animated treasure continues to delight with the story of the underdog reindeer and his elf pal Hermie, who'd rather be a dentist.

(Which comes in handy when dealing with a toothsome Abominable Snow Monster.)

Governor Abbott, TDEM Launch COVID-19 Rapid Testing Pilot Program For Front Line Workers Of Small Businesses AUSTIN - Governor Greg Abbott and the Te x a s D i v i s i o n o f Emergency Management (TDEM) today launched a COVID-19 Rapid Testing Pilot Program for front line workers at Texas small businesses.

This program will help small businesses throughout the state conduct rapid tests on employees to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Through this pilot program, TDEM will provide local Chamber of Commerce organizations with COVID-19 testing

supplies that will then allocate the supplies to local small businesses that choose to participate in the program. These small businesses can then administer these tests to employees who choose to participate. This program has been developed using the framework of the COVID-19 Rapid Testing Pilot Program for Texas school systems, implemented by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and TDEM in October, that ensures access to rapid testing for all Texas teachers.

Republicans Again Pick Brady to Lead House Ways and Means Committee Wa s h i n g t o n , D . C .

— This morning, House Republicans named Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) to continue as Republican Leader of the influential House Committee on Ways and Means in the 117th Congress.

Brady, only the third Texan in history to lead the Committee, led the first successful reform of the tax code in 30 years, negotiated an end to the ban on selling U.S. crude oil overseas, and led House efforts to pass the new U.S. trade agreement with Mexico and Canada.

New Report Details Enormous 20 Year Growth in TX Homeschooling

Texas public schools to homeschool each year.

THSC’s new research tool, which is available for viewing online, provides previously unavailable geographic and grade level breakdowns of the students who withdraw from Texas public schools to begin homeschooling.

H o m e s c h o o l w i t hdrawal data was obtained from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), which reports on only those homeschool students who withdrew from the public school system to homeschool and only students in grades 7-12.

For this reason, total homeschool growth in Texas is estimated to be significantly higher than the already impressive

numbers reported by the TEA. A recent survey from Gallup showed that the number of homeschool families in the United States doubled from 5% in 2019 to 10% in 2020. This could mean more than 670,000 homeschool students in Texas, which would translate into more than $7 billion in savings to the state per year.

While homeschool withdrawal information for 2020 is not yet availa b l e f r o m t h e Te x a s Education Agency (TEA), all available indicators point towards record shattering growth.

Tim Lambert, President of THSC, commented on the enormous upward trend in homeschooling.

“Data from the TEA indicates that homeschooling in Texas has been growing at an incredibly fast pace over the last 20 years, and that was true before Covid-19.

By all appearances, homeschool growth is outpacing all other forms of education by incredible margins and has just become a mainstream educational option.”

THSC has also compiled and is now releasing the first ever 2020 Texas Homeschool Report, which provides significant geographic, demographic, academic, and opinion information from Texas homeschoolers.

It seems fitting for u s t o h a v e Thanksgiving before Christmas. We thank God for all His provisions during our past year. That’s a small part of the holiday coming – that of Christmas. At that time, we thank God for His most wonderful gift of all – His only Son, Jesus.

As we look at what truly composes all the beautiful history of this holiday, it began in heaven

before heaven was even created. God knew man would need a savior. Jesus volunteered to come into an earthly existence in the future to save us from our sin. He knew what He would have to go through on earth, but He wanted to experience all we had to go through, even from birth to being a grown man. God also knew what giving us that gift, His only Son, would mean for our salvation.

Also, the place had to be on the far edge of the town so the shepherds in the surrounding fields would be able to come with their sheep to see this special baby. They

would be the first ones to spread the “Good News!” Here’s what happened: “In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them and they were terribly frightened.” Luke 2 :8-9.

Then the angel told them about their Savior, “Christ, the Lord,” and that they should go and find their “Savior.” But God wasn’t through yet. He sent a special

choir of angels to show the shepherds He was pleased: “A n d s u d d en ly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.’ “ Luke 2: 13-14.

Isn’t it interesting that God would pick a dark, out-of-the-way place for His Son’s birth and announce it with angel’s songs, only to shepherds?

Don’t we know Jesus wanted it that way? No big hurrahs for Him…just simple love and trust beginning

with shepherds and angelic songs. What a gift! What a Savior for all of us!

Thanks be to GOD for this simple truth of the redemption of all mankind. And that’s not all GOD did for us with His Son here on earth. The holy family had to go back to Nazareth and when Jesus turned two, He had some important visitors who had traveled many, many miles to come see him in Nazareth. We’ll explore that portion of His young life next week, as we continue looking at God’s hand guiding Jesus through some dangerous times.

SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE OF RATE CHANGE REQUEST On October 19, 2020, Entergy Texas, Inc. (“ETI”) filed an application to amend its Transmission Cost Recovery Factor (“TCRF”) with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (“Commission” or “PUC”). The application was assigned PUC Docket No. 51406.

The proposed TCRF is requested in accordance with the Public Utility Regulatory Act § 36.209 and 16 TAC § 25.239. A TCRF allows a utility to recover its reasonable and necessary costs that have occurred since the end of the test year in the utility's last base rate case for transmission infrastructure improvement and changes in wholesale transmission charges to the electric utility under a tariff approved by a federal regulatory authority. In its requested amendment, ETI is seeking recovery of costs for transmission capital investments it incurred from July 1, 2019 through August 31, 2020. ETI also seeks to recover approved transmission charges that are not otherwise being recovered through rates.

The proposed TCRF as amended would result in total TCRF retail revenues of approximately $51.0 million, which is $31.6 million in incremental annual TCRF revenue beyond ETI's currently effective TCRF. This $31.6 million amount would be a 3.3% increase in ETI's annualized non-fuel revenue requirement as compared to revenues approved in Docket No. 48371, ETI's most recent base rate case, and a 2.1% increase in ETI's overall annualized revenue requirement including fuel costs as compared to such revenues as approved in Docket No. 48371. The impact of the rate change on various customer classes will vary from the overall impact described in this notice.

The Commission ALJ has established an intervention deadline of December 28, 2020 and a hearing request deadline of December 30, 2020. The effective date of the proposed rate change would be the date that a Commission order adopting the proposed TCRF is issued. ETI has requested that, if no hearing is requested, the Commission adopt an order approving the proposed TCRF at or before its currently-scheduled open meeting on February 12, 2021. All customers in ETI's Texas retail rate classes are affected by this request.

Community Aquatic Plant Management on Lake Conroe For more than 40 years, aquatic vegetation has been a matter of concern on Lake Conroe. The San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) and Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) are close and collaborative partners in the on-going effort to manage aquatic vegetation in the lake.

Though spearheaded by SJRA and TPWD, the program has grown because of the ongoing contributions of many area stakeholders representing multiple interests. The Seven Coves Bass Club and Lake Conroe Association in particular have been staunch supporters of aquatic plant management and have had a major influence on the program’s growth.

The idea of “management” within the context of aquatic plants, includes both native as well as exotic (i.e. nonnative/invasive) species.

The overall objective is to maximize the amount of native plants while limiting exotic species to an acceptable level. As eloquently described by TPWD Fisheries Biologist, Alice Best, in last month’s issue of Dockline, these exotic

plants can be very aggressive, often outcompete native plants for existence, cause a multitude of undesirable consequences and upset the delicate balance of the natural ecology. One of the most significant and impactful effects of exotic plants is that they can form such large, dense mats that they can severely limit recreational opportunities on the lake.

In fact, certain plants can become so entangled in boat propellers that they can render vessels virtually inoperable.

Though well intended, certain methods used to control exotic species often also reduce the amount of native vegetation.

Shortly after the reservoir filled in 1973, the exotic plant, water hyacinth, was first identified. Over the years, other exotic species have found their way into Lake Conroe including giant salvinia, crested floating heart, and hydrilla. Historically, the two most troublesome in terms of the labor and expense to control are hydrilla and giant salvinia. Once established, eradication is

simply not a realistic objective. Therefore, a sustained maintenance program is essential.

Both SJRA and TPWD have active exotic-plant treatment programs and each dedicates an extensive amount of time and resources, including experienced, licensed applicators to help fight the battle.

A truly successful management program must be equally as committed to native plant restoration as it is to exotic species control.

Therefore, SJRA and TPWD are both fully committed to this vitally important aspect of the overall aquatic plant management program.

As previously acknowledged as being a major stakeholder and partner in the quest to maintain native plant species, several years ago, the Seven Coves Bass Club constructed an aquatic plant nursery on the SJRA Lake Conroe campus.

T h e N u r s e r y, w h i c h consists of eight individual waterproofed wooden troughs, is used to grow a variety of native plant species. Plants grown in the nursery are propagated from clippings of “mother plants” that have been well established in the reservoir from previous planting efforts.

Those grown in the nursery in any given year can be transferred back

into the reservoir the following year in a continuous, selfsustaining cycle. Each year an estimated 600 plants are transferred from the nursery back into Lake Conroe. Transplanting excursions often include the assistance of volunteers passionate about preserving the overall health of the Lake’s ecology.

In 2020, SJRA decided to try something new and create a living nursery test and demonstration site at the west end of the Lake Conroe Dam. For this, project staff chose to plant Bull Rush, Water Willow, Pickerelweed, and White Water Lilly. The test site will give SJRA a chance to monitor the growth patterns of each species thus providing insights on survival and proliferation rates once plants have been re-introduced into

the natural shoreline of the lake. This living nursery will also serve as erosion control, provide suitable fish habitat, create educational opportunities, and act as a secondary nursery for future clippings and propagation. From the beginning, the plan has been to establish native plant colonies on the north end of the lake that, once established, would reproduce through mechanisms such as seeds and fragmentation, allowing plants to migrate to and populate other areas of the shoreline.

A stakeholder meeting was held on September 10th to allow for an open forum to discuss the current status of aquatic plants in Lake Conroe, the effectiveness of control and restoration efforts, and to outline a unified path forward.

One of the major river authorities in Texas, SJRA’s mission is to develop, conserve, and protect the water resources of the San Jacinto River basin.

By Cheryl Conley, TWRC Wildlife Center When one mentions raptors, there are a few species that people are very familiar with like owls, eagles and hawks. The osprey, how ever, is n’t a familiar species to most people even though it is one of the most widespread raptors in the world.

They are found on every continent except Antarctica.

Like all raptors, the osprey is a large bird with a hooked beak and sharp talons, both of which are used to catch their prey and tear it apart to eat.

About 99% of the osprey’s diet is made up of fish so it only makes sense that they nest near water along the coasts and large lakes. Occasionally they can be seen along rivers. They build their nests at the tops of dead trees, buoys, chimneys, and even atop power poles. Like the bald eagle, they use the same nest year after

year but can be seen making minor repairs each spring.

They are amazing to watch as they glide over water looking for a fish. Sometimes they plunge so forcefully into the water that they are totally submerged.

After catching a fish, they arrange the fish so it faces upright with the head forward.

The osprey is a great fisherman, successfully catching a fish one out of 4 tries. They have a much higher success rate than it’s relatives like the eagle.

Sometimes eagles watch and when an osprey catches a fish, the eagle will attack the osprey causing it to drop the fish. Easy meal for the eagle!

Benjamin Franklin said in 1784 that “bald eagles are too lazy to f i s h f o r h i mself…….and does not get his living honestly.” True then, true today.

Ospreys generally

mate for life but they will find a new partner should their partner die or disappear during spring migration.

In the New Jersey area, nest building begins in early April and eggs are laid from mid-April to early May. You can watch the eggs hatch and observe Mom and Dad caring for the babies. It’s interesting and educational.
