Monkwood has been creating handcrafted studio desks since 2011. We wanted to build a solid wood workstation that would inspire the creative mind and endure the long hours and many years that an artistic legacy requires. The materials we employ are carefully chosen and incorporated into each piece using traditional joinery methods and age old finish techniques. Every desk we make is a vehicle for countless ideas.

Over the years, we have have built a devoted client base that have used their Monkwood studio desks to create world class songs, movies, art and more. Whether they are a industry professional or a passionate enthusiast, we seek to serve each client with our best work and aim to maintain their trust through sincere and lasting customer service. We aim for their Monkwood desk to be the last one our clients will ever need. One day they will hand it down to the someone else to continue the story it tells.

We are seeking to expand our catalogue to offer more complimentary items such as side cars and rack cabinets, along with a new line of streamlined desks that will suit a lower price range.
