Hee haw! The children in the caterpillar

room had a fun time pretending to be cowboys and cowgirls this week! We used our imaginations to ride horses, use puppets in a barn and feed horses oats in the sensory table! We also had a visit from Ms. Jen ' s chickens! We made cute sheep and recited 'baa baa black sheep." We read "The Big Red Barn " and played an old MacDonald game with a barn and animals that we colored! We will continue the fun next week by going to the fair to look at all the farm animals on Wednesday!

This week in the Butterfly Room welcomed Nova and we had a camping week! We talked about what we could take on a camping trip and what animals we could

see if we are outdoors! We pretended to camp in our classroom with a tent and campfire, and pretended like we were making Smore' s! We

painted stars and made clothespin fireflies for art this week. We had water and frogs in our sensory table, and spent

lots of time Building with blocks and toys.

Next week we plan to continue our camping theme and also talk about nature!
