2016 Tax receipts for childcare were emailed out last week. If you did not receive, please email me for a copy.

If your child will be entering kindergarten in the fall and will be needing before and/ or after school care, please keep an eye on the newsletter and other information regarding registration for the PDO Before and After School Program.

This week we talked about ocean life!

We made coffee filter fish, sand ocean pictures and we also painted at the easel! We had sand and shells in the sensory table and had a fish restaurant in our dramatic play area.

We worked on the days of the week, the months of the year and writing in our journals.

This week the caterpillars experimented with salt, ice and salt in our sensory table!

For art, we squeezed salt paint on cardboard.

Bean bag fun helped develop our eye hand coordination and large motor skills.

Humpty dumpy and baa, baa black sheep were the nursery rhymes we focused on to encourage language and phonetic awareness!

We also enjoyed several nature walks where we listened to the rain drip from the trees, heard a hawk calling "hello" and observed beats in the bare trees!

The curriculum was music and movement.

The children were painting to music.
