BRIEF

Location: The ballet school will be located on land close to the Silo Park and the Shed. The school is located in a residential area with mixed buildings. The ballet school project was implemented in an urban project, done together with classmates.

Localization

Target Audience: Children with a minimum age of 4 (no maximum age limit). The school will prioritize residents of the neighbourhood/region, but there will be the possibility for people from other regions, neighbourhoods, cities or even another state to study at the school.

Architectural Party: The project proposal is to bring transparency with the glass facades, with the cantilevered building providing a covered patio where it can be used for rehearsals. The project has a large living area connecting the building with Silo Park. The project will also bring a dormitory, for companies/students from other cities or states.

With the insertion of a ballet school in the neighbourhood, it will provide many families with easy access to culture and art, which justifies the implementation of this building on the site.

Objective: The main objective of the project is to attract the population of the neighbourhood to have first contact with dance and art, thus bringing culture. The project is expected to help in the education and training of children and adolescents in the neighbourhood. In the absence of incentives and structure, many families opt for private schools, where low-income families cannot afford the monthly fees. The school located in the neighbourhood will promote an extracurricular experience for high, medium, and low-income children and adolescents.
