This artisan production by RIVA1920 overcomes the dynamics of standard design and guarantees a high level of flexibility and customization.

This commitment is evident from the outset of the manufacturing process, beginning with the selection of premium woods. The collection is crafted from solid, sustainably-sourced timber, including varieties like maple, cherry, oak, and walnut, obtained through carefully managed and deliberate felling.

The dedication to the environment is further embodied in the Natural Living project, underscoring their tangible pledge to ecological responsibility. Solid wood is the main ingredient and the only material used is wood coming exclusively from controlled and programmed cuts. This means that every time a tree is cut, RIVA1920 plants others so that the circle of life doesn’t stop, and nature is given back what it has given.

Every item undergoes rigorous checks for quality and functionality, complemented by the use of non-toxic vinyl adhesives and natural finishes from plant-based waxes and oils, ensuring that each piece is not only authentic but also wholly natural.

It features traditional artisanal craftsmanship, including dovetail joints, and is finished with natural oils and waxes. Modern elements like LED lighting add functionality, while custom options cater to specific customer requirements, offering a variety of internal fittings and accessories.

CEDAR WOOD INTERIOR The interior boasts Lebanon cedar wood, known for its natural moth-repellent and antibacterial properties, which also provides a pleasant scent. A broad selection of finishes is available for both the structure and doors, with the doors offered in wood or in a glass with an aluminum frame for added sophistication.

CABINET-MAKING TRADITION The hallmark of this craftsmanship is the dovetail joint, an emblematic feature of traditional cabinetry. This joinery technique involves interlocking wedge-shaped cuts, which fit snugly together through compression, without the need for additional hardware. These interconnections are ideally suited not just for assembling drawers but for other structural components of the furniture as well.
