Re:Vision London, UK At LiGHT 25, visitors can experience Re:Vision – an exclusive, immersive sensory experience, crafted by Speirs Major Light Architecture, and powered by formalighting. Following the success of Intra-Spectrum, an installation created by Frankie Boyle for LiGHT 24, this year’s installation will look to demonstrate the dramatic shift in colour perception from species to species. Speaking of the concept behind the installation, Speirs Major Light Architecture says: “We live on a planet teeming with life. Yet, we rarely consider how each species experiences this world through a different lens. “Re:Vision zooms in on one vibrant slice of that difference: colour perception. Using custom spectral profiles and reimagined Ishihara colour blindness test patterns, it offers a glimpse into how varied the lived experience can be from one species to another, and even between individuals. 022 / 023

“This sensory experience invites us to step outside the ‘blindness’ of our own perceptual boundaries for a moment, and rethink how we design – not just for humans, but for a richly biodiverse world that is far more colourful, complex, and interconnected than we often imagine.” LiGHT 25 will take place on 19-20 November at the Business Design Centre, London. Free visitor registration is now open. For more information, visit the LiGHT 25 website. www.lightexpo.london www.smlightarchitecture.com
