OUR CIVIL CAPABILITY Drawing on our extensive experience in delivering major expansion projects and a successful history of providing maintenance and shutdown services, our team is well positioned to deliver brownfield plant upgrades and sustaining capital works as a turnkey approach.

By providing a multidisciplinary service to our customers, we eliminate the need to engage and manage multiple contractors on a project. We pride ourselves in offering a full range of services, with a team that ensure even the most complex of projects can be delivered in-house to meet our customer’s expectations.

We have the capability of performing a diverse range of civil works as either standalone packages, or as part of a broader scope of work. Despite any challenges a project may entail, we continue to deliver what was promised, using the highest quality products. EARTH WORKS

STORMWATER DRAINAGE

A large component of our civil capability is earthworks, we have the ability to perform bulk, detailed and remediation earthworks. Our project teams combine professional skills with extensive industry experience to deliver wide-ranging earthworks services for our customers across Australia. Our civil division performs: • Site clearing and demolition

A key aspect of our civil division is the design, supply, installation and commissioning of new stormwater drainage, upgrades to existing infrastructure across various sites and varying ground conditions. We have experience installing drainage infrastructure in some of the harshest and most remote places in Australia, and have installed numerous types of pipe and stormwater infrastructure including:

• Bulk excavation

• HDPE, MSCL, GRP, RCP, FRC and PVC pipe

• Structural fill

• Pre-cast drainage pits and chambers

• Site preparation

• Pump stations and associated infrastructure

• Dam construction

• Underground storage chambers

• Erosion protection

We have the capability to construct both gravity and pressure systems ranging from small diameter pipes through to large branch and trunk mains. Our installation methodologies include open cut trench work, micro-tunnelling and directional drilling. We have the expertise and equipment to install and excavate sewer, water and drainage pipes at any depth or ground condition.

We work with all types of material and contaminated soils that you may encounter in both green and brownfield environments. This includes removing, treating and replacing contaminated material.

ROAD CONSTRUCTION Providing our customers with a complete turnkey package for road construction and upgrades is one of our key civil capabilities. This encompass all aspects of road construction including: • Design and feasibility • Bulk earthworks

To assist with our civil division, we have equipment readily available to self-perform de-watering works for both stormwater and utility installations. This enables us to provide our services, no matter the ground conditions encountered on site, and adds another dynamic dimension to our expanding civil division.

RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE We have an in-house rail division that completes construction, demolition, maintenance and upgrade works on railway lines and bridges. Our experience of installing rail foundations, track, overhead line equipment and rail systems is reinforced by our skill and expertise in civil works, structural concrete and bridge building to provide our customers a single point of contact for all their infrastructure needs.

DEMOLITION WORKS In addition to our civil services, we offer demolition services including decommissioning and deconstruction. We hold a class one demolition license and an asbestos removal license, allowing us to undertake any industrial demolition. We have the ability to deconstruct and demolish works in live environments including the removal of power plants, fuel facilities and contaminated soils, with the added complexities of high-risk heavy lift and decommissioning of live services. All demolition works are safely managed and certified in line with our HSE management plans.

CIVIL I CAPABILITY STATEMENT

UTILITY & WATER INFRASTRUCTURE We undertake design, supply, installation and commissioning of utility pipelines and associated infrastructure for our customers. Our multi-disciplined teams have the knowledge and skill to oversee the whole design process through to completion. We are often engaged in early contractor involvement and have the capability to manage consultants to bring concept plans to life. As part of our utility works, we undertake the following: • Electrical infrastructure works •W ater infrastructure including piping, pumping stations, potable water and waste water •W ater treatment plants including all associated structural and mechanical works • Gas infrastructure works •F uel pipelines including storage tanks and upgrade works to existing facilities

STRUCTURAL CONCRETE

MARINE STRUCTURES

A large part of our civil division revolves around structural concrete works, and over the years we have established a reputation for constructing high quality, durable concrete structures. These structures range from simplistic ground slabs and footings to highly complex reinforced walls, bridge beams and conveyor footings. We regularly undertake the following works:

Our marine structure services include maintenance and capital upgrades to terminal load and unload facilities. This includes, span fabrication, installation, structural integrity and general maintenance to stackers, reclaimers, conveyors, ship loaders and wharves for various industries. We have further bolstered our marine capabilities through an acquisition, ensuring the division has extensive experience in the provision of marine maintenance services.

NO MATTER THE JOB, WE ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME APPROACH WITH A CONSISTENT FOCUS ON QUALITY AND SAFETY.

We have successfully constructed bridges for both the resources and transport sectors, including both steel frame and concrete framed structures. In addition to the construction works, we can also provide ongoing maintenance and upgrade works.

OUR PEOPLE

OUR SOFTWARE

We have an established projects team that delivers both major and minor capital works projects for the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors. Our skilled team undertake all aspects of these projects, from design though to commissioning and handover, with a strong emphasis on working safely and achieving the highest quality standards for our customers.

With the latest in software and computer programs we ensure that our civil projects are accurate from the outset. Utilising earthworks software to visualise and accurately estimate quantities for large scale bulk earthwork projects, allows us to provide our customers with screenshots and a 3D flythrough of the proposed earthworks. This assists in understanding and visualising the sometimes-complex nature of bulk earthworks. Using the latest in onscreen take-off software to accurately measure and quantify all aspects of the work required, gives our customers confidence that we have captured all aspects of the job.

OUR EQUIPMENT To meet the needs of our customers we have an extensive range of modern mine specification plant, with a combination of both owned and hired-in, equipment which is fit for purpose and maintained to the highest industry standards. We have the equipment and experienced personnel to offer.
