NY19 Congressman John Faso has voted with Trump over 89% of the time. Faso has refused to hold public Town Halls and is only accountable to deep-pocketed lobbyists and destructive right-wing billionaires like the Mercer Family and the Koch Brothers.
Faso voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act and protections for pre-existing conditions. Faso proposed an amendment to gut NY State resources for Medicaid. He sides with insurers over those injured by medical malpractice.
Faso votes against women. Faso voted to defund Planned Parenthood and is against abortion. Faso also voted to ban abortions after 20 weeks and to imprison women for five years. In the NYS Assembly, he was twice the lone vote against equal pay for women.
Faso is enabling another Wall Street crash. Faso voted to dismantle financial regulations put in place by the Dodd‑Frank Act and is actively working to undermine the Martin Act, an aggressive New York anti-fraud law.
Faso defends the NRA, not our children. Faso cosponsored a dangerous law that would allow individuals from states with little-to-no gun control to legally carry concealed guns in New York State. Faso is endorsed by the NRA and has a lifetime A rating.
