Missouri Weekly Hay Summary The first measurable snow fall came for much of the state over the last week. Although light, this made transportation of hay difficult. Even with the recent shot of winter, many producers are starting to think of spring. Unlike many past years, few are concerned with hay inventory or having enough hay to last until green up. The supply of hay is moderate to heavy and demand is light. Prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
