Some farmers were just starting to get a good jump on spring field work this week before rains came. Fertilizer buggies were getting some use and many grain farmers were starting to apply anhydrous. Rains quickly brought that to a stop however and it will take a few sun filled days before work can resume. Hay needs have been quickly decreasing as grass starts to grow, depending on the area of the state feeding season will wrap up shortly. The supply of hay is moderate and demand is light.
