Missouri Weekly Hay Summary 03/28/19 Green has become visible to many parts of the state, but feeding needs still exist as grass is still a ways from getting ahead of cattle which are eager to graze. There has been some field work accomplished this week but forecast rain may put that on hold. Many along the major rivers in northern parts of the state are dealing with flooding which has exceeded all-time records in some locations. The supply of hay is light, demand is moderate and prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
