Most of the record flood water has flowed on down the creek so to speak. Many are now just trying to clean up and determine the amount of damage done. For the most part winter weather has been absent from the state so far. There was a few days of snow cover in the north but overall there hasn’t been much to stir any real amount of demand for hay. Mild temps and mud however are perhaps harder on cattle than the cold would be and keeping weight on cattle is not all that easy. The supply of hay is heavy, demand is light and prices are steady.
