Missouri Weekly Hay Summary—Week ending 03/14/2013 Snow is gone from the Missouri landscape and mud has been left in its wake. This week's drought monitor shows that the snow, rain, mud and muck has translated to relief statewide. The state is now nearly 35 percent drought free with no areas in extreme or exceptional drought, and a mere 7 percent in severe drought status. Hay supply is light, demand is light and prices are steady. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
