The unseasonably warm weather is coming to a brief end but not before some parts of the state have already planted corn, cut alfalfa, and made other summer preparations. Alfalfa cut now could see as many as six cuttings with a healthy growing season and good conditions. Many pastures are full and lush beckoning to be cut or grazed. Sales are slow as producers look to get their fields in good shape to have a high quality product available in the coming months. Prices are steady, demand is moderate, supply is light.
