Warmer temperatures melting the snow and ice accumulation and making gravel roads and cattle lots very sloppy. Hay movement continues at a near standstill but most producers are at least receiving some inquiries. Hay piles are rapidly going down as the past couple of weeks has had producers putting more hay into the rings than normal, but with the warmer weather this too will moderate. Most all higher quality Alfalfa is already spoken for but grass hay, especially large round bales, readily available. Hay price are steady, demand moderate and supply is heavy.
