Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Record temperatures the past week, have allowed hay producers one last chance to cut some fall hay. Most of this hay is grass, either fescue, or brome. Quality is outstanding and tonnage is moderate. Producers are reporting that due to he hot dry weather, especially in Southwest Missouri, interest has increased. Still most say the phone calls only checking on availability. Grain harvest nearing completion on both soybeans and corn. Hay supply and demand is moderate this week, and prices are steady.
