Bloom back for 2024!

South Molton in Bloom is set to return to the town in the New Year after taking a break in 2023. The volunteers will be aiming to repeat their success, having picked up gold awards in the RHS South West in Bloom competition in both 2021 (photo right) and 2022.

“We are so grateful to all the businesses who keep us going,” said coordinator Sue Harrison. “John Walker Insurance who insures the group, Molton Monthly who help us with publicity, The Welcome Fryer who promote us on their display in the window and also to Day Lewis who allow us to promote our work in their shop window.”

Condate Biogas is designing a new display from February in the town’s Day Lewis Pharmacy. A fundraising bingo night is being held at the Conservative Club on March 15th. The ‘In Bloom’ group is also appealing for any knitters who would like to help with the competition to get in touch, along with active gardeners.
