Volunteers blazing a trail to recovery

A warm Molong welcome to the volunteers of BlazeAid who are in the area helping foodafected farmers, graziers and landowners to rebuild fencing and other structures destroyed by the November 2022 food. With accommodation and facilities provided at the Molong Showgrounds, the volunteers are well versed in supporting rural families and individuals hit hard by natural disasters such as foods and fres.

Equally as important, the BlazeAid volunteers have helped lift the spirits of many locals, some of whom are facing their second and third food events after years of drought, or devastating losses through bushfres.
