New push for Bank St tree change - Mag survey Pg4 Fire Fighters Calendar boys and A Current Affair come to town

On Monday, Rural Aid / Buy a Bale together with half a dozen boys from the Australian Firefighters Calendar descended on Cumnock to deliver 686 hay bales to around 38 drought stricken farmers. Channel 9’s A Current Affair crew came along to cover the story. Later they descended on Molong with the Fire Fighters shouting beers at the Telegraph and Freemasons Hotel. Molong Country Woman’s Association members held a special meeting, complete with tea and scones, for the benefit of the Current Affair team keen to portray life in these parts.
