There's only one guess who ate Frosty the Snowman's icy nose when Quinnie discovered that playing in the snow made her mighty hungry. "Hey! Who ate my nose and my chocolate buttons" asked Frosty who enjoyed seeing Molong families having fun on the snow covered Pinnacle. Quinnie's mum Jac had the perfect solution placing another carrot on the popular snowman's face ... and delicious chocolate biscuits to replace his eyes and buttons. Question is? Who ate the biscuits? It wasn't a local rabbit ... maybe a boy called Clarry (P.8).

The story of Lennie & Ginger Mick

Moree Last week a few of us from Molong ventured to COVID-19 free Moree. We enjoyed the drive past paddocks of lush green pastures, the yellow brilliance of Canola, dams full of water and rivers flowing.

Moree is a lovely town with welcoming locals who were grateful for our shopping, dining, accommodation and spending of $$’s. The shop and business owners we visited and stayed with could not thank us enough.

“You’re welcome” we said. “People from other towns are coming to Molong to help us - so we’re here to help you.” That’s the way of country folk to help each other through tough times.

We enjoyed the Moree Gift Barrel - a local craft shop initiative of local and district women similar to the Molong Yarn Market. This wonderful shopfront provides an insight to the fabulous crafts, foods, home-mades, handmades of town and district women and men. With some of these skills dating back in time to early setters who passed their skills to the next generation who passed to the next - to todays families.

I met a number of wonderful people in Moree who had fascinating stories to tell. So fascinating in fact I intend to return with my computer and camera to write these.

Drought: I met a wonderful community volunteer, Colleen Nash who has volunteered with Vinnies and other service groups for some 45 years.

As well as making the most delicious homemade cakes and biscuits for the Moree Gift Barrel - Colleen heads off for a day each month leaving home at 5.00 a.m. - driving to the NW corner of NSW - to the towns, villages and farming lands (e.g. Walgett, Lightning Ridge etc) to help local families still living in drought conditions.

“Some of these families are still living in the long drought and finding it very tough indeed. “Most of this NW corner has only received 1 inch of rain during the past 12 months.

Colleen Nash runs her own support program with vouchers freely given to her by a number of small businesses and individuals living in Moree and groups from the surrounding towns and villages. These she passes on during her travels each month - from farm to farm - town to town village to village.

“People here are very generous and willing to give to help their neighbours and townspeople during this tough time.”

Fodder, food for families, help on farms, donations to Colleen Nash to deliver to families still in need ... Let’s extend our local generosity to those still battling.

What can we send from the people of Molong and District to help raise their spirits?

Amazing stories like this one still exist. Local traveller, Phill, sent us this story which he found somewhere in his travels.

The year is 1932 - Australia is in the grip of the Great Depression. One in three workers are unemployed. Decrepit shanty towns hug the outskirts of the big cities. A scrawny rabbit caught in a trap will feed a family for a week. Country roads are filled with broken men walking from one farmhouse to another seeking menial jobs and food.

On the outskirts of the South Gippsland town of Leongatha, an injured farmer lies in bed unable to walk or work. World War I hero Captain Leo Tennyson Gwyther is in hospital with a broken leg and the family farm is in danger of falling into ruins.

Up steps his son, nine-year-old Lennie. With the help of his pony Ginger Mick, Lennie ploughs the farm’s 24 paddocks and keeps the place running until his father can get back on his feet. How to reward him? Lennie has been obsessively following one of the biggest engineering feats of the era – the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. He wants to attend its opening.

With great reluctance, his parents agree he can go. So Lennie saddles up Ginger Mick, packs a toothbrush, pyjamas, spare clothes and a water bottle into a

sack, and begins the 1000+ kilometre trek to Sydney. Alone. That’s right. A nine-year-old boy riding a pony from the deep south of Victoria to the biggest and roughest city in the nation.

Told you it was a different era. No social media. No mobile phones.

But even then it doesn’t take long before word begins to spread about a boy, his horse and their epic trek. The entire population of small country towns gather on their outskirts to welcome his arrival. He survives bushfires, is attacked by a “vagabond” and endures rain and cold, biting winds.

When he reaches Canberra he is welcomed by Prime Minister Joseph Lyons, who invites him into Parliament House for tea.

When he finally arrives in Sydney, more than 10,000 people line the streets to greet him. He is besieged by autograph hunters. He becomes a key part of the official parade at the bridge’s opening. He and Ginger Mick are invited to make a starring appearance at the Royal Show. Even Donald Bradman, the biggest celebrity of the Depression era, requests a meeting and gives him a signed cricket bat. A letter writer to The Sydney Morning Herald at the time gushes that “just such an example as provided by a child of nine summers, Lennie Gwyther was, and is, needed to

raise the spirit of our people and to fire our youth and others to do things – not to talk only.

“The sturdy pioneer spirit is not dead … let it be remembered that this little lad, when his father was in hospital, cultivated the farm – a mere child.”

When Lennie leaves Sydney for home a month later, he has become one of the most famous figures in a country craving uplifting news. Large crowds wave handkerchiefs. Women weep and shout “goodbye”. According to The Sun newspaper, “Lennie, being a casual Australian, swung into the saddle and called ‘toodleloo!’. He finally arrives home to a tumultuous reaction in Leongatha.He returns to school and soon life for Lennie – and the country – returns to normal. These days you can find a bronze statue in Leongatha commemorating Lennie and Ginger Mick.

But Australia has largely forgotten his remarkable feat – and how he inspired a struggling nation. Never taught about him in school? Never heard of him before? Spread the word. We need to remember – and celebrate – Lennie Gwyther and his courageous journey.

It's a great story. God knows we need these stories now, more than ever.

Lake Rowlands continues to spill

Over 7.5 gigalitres of water has spilt over the Lake Rowlands dam since late July. That is a significant amount considering the total storage capacity is only 4.5 gigalitres.

Why does it matter?

Paul Mullins Central Tablelands Water (CTW) supplies water to the Shires of Blayney, Cabonne and Weddin. Bulk water is also supplied to Cowra Shire Council to service rural consumers and the villages of Woodstock and Gooloogong.

In Cabonne, Cudal, Canowindra, Eugowra, Manildra and Cargo get their water from CTW. Molong and (soon) Cumnock and Yeoval get their water from Cabonne Council’s Molong Dam supply.

Years ago it was estimated that the capacity of Lake Rowlands could be doubled for around $10m - not a lot in the scheme of things (e.g $600m for Wyangala). Would have been handy during the drought. Wonder if the project is getting a look-in now?

Last year the Molong supply was connected to Orange as a back-up measure when Molong Dam almost emptied.

Steady rain and snowfalls across the weekend in Orange have filled Spring Creek Dam and boosted the level of Suma Park Dam. After reaching 40 percent of capacity last week, Orange’s combined water storage reached the 50 per cent mark.

Orange recorded 41.2 mm of rain on Saturday and Sunday. The capacity of Spring Creek Dam

has been slowly building in recent weeks. Water has now topped the dam wall.

The overflow from both Spring Creek and Gosling Creek dams is now flowing downstream into Suma Park Dam, further boosting water levels on top of inflows from stormwater harvesting and the Macquarie Pipeline.

Orange Mayor Reg Kidd “The 50 per cent milestone is the automatic trigger-point for Orange residents to move from the Very High Level Four water restrictions to the High Level Three. It’s important that we have an organised, predictable system, so residents can know the trigger-points when we’re going into water restrictions and when we can expect an easing of restrictions.

Tell us what you need to help with harvest “Across the Central NSW we are hearing that primary producers have concerns about labour shortages this harvest due to the impact of COVID-19,” said Mayor Kevin Beatty.

CozWine Harvest Trail Services is a federally funded program provider for Central Western NSW. It aims to attract and engage Australian job seekers for the purpose of harvest work.

“CozWine has been engaging with producers across the region in an attempt to understand the size and scale of requirement for harvest workers,” Mayor Beatty said.

“We are aware from discussions with producers already that applications for this coming harvest are as low as 30% of last year’s applicant numbers. We also understand that we need to provide strong incentives to entice unemployed Australians to undertake harvest work. We are looking at programs that exist currently for JobSeekers to attempt

to provide financial benefit without limiting their ability to return to JobSeeker payments when harvest is concluded,” said El Milne, National Manager CozWine.

Mayors across the region are calling on primary producers to provide the following information to CozWine: • the type of crop they produce • number of harvest workers required • approximate dates they require them • how long they need them for • and any other specific skills they need.

“The more information that can be obtained, the better equipped we will be to plan and ensure producers in the region get the labour they require,” Mayor Beatty said.

Visitor spending delivering for retailers, not just food and wine sector

New research to be presented to Orange City Council reveals the economic impact of visitors is being felt far beyond local tourism operators.

The new data shows visitors to the Orange Region are just as likely to go shopping in local discount shops, hardware stores and clothing boutiques as food and wine outlets.

Analysis of spending in Orange’s Light Industry retailers (which contains hardware stores) shows that 46.6% of expenditure in this category comes from visitors.

Orange Mayor Cr Reg Kidd said it’s important to have a promotional strategy that’s based on evidence, not stereotypes and misconceptions.

“For retailers, it’s crucial to know where your customers are from, so you can market to them.”

Orange City Council Employment and Economic Development Committee chair Cr Tony Mileto said it’s crucial to look at the evidence.

“When you first hear about it, it sounds like a valid criticism,” Cr Tony Mileto said. “One of the questions often posed to Council is: ‘How does someone coming for food and wine help the local hardware store’?”

“But the more you think about it and the more you look at the actual evidence, the less sense those claims makes. Analysis of the category which contains hardware stores shows that 46.6% of expenditure in this category comes from visitors.

It’s a similar number with local department stores. The Discount Department Stores and Clothing category has 46.0% of its purchases made by visitors.

“From time to time our marketing strategies face criticism for focussing on the factors that make

Orange attractive and distinctive, our food and wine culture. Despite this focus, this data makes it clear that strategic marketing and promotional activity, both direct and through Orange 360, has been successful and has translated into value for retailers well beyond that traditional tourism sector.”

“It is interesting that Grocery Stores and Supermarkets has the lowest visitor expenditure of all the categories at 29.3%, yet still nearly a third of activity in this sector comes from visitors.

‘Both overnight and day visitors have a significant impact on the economy. That’s why we have a multi-pronged approach to attract people that’s aimed at encouraging as many people as possible come to Orange to contribute to the economy.

“It’s too simplistic to imagine all visitors are tourists from Sydney.

Families who are visiting Orange might be people from Dubbo, or Mudgee, or Forbes who’ve come here for a medical appointment or to see an accountant. They might make a weekend of it and go to a winery, but they might also go shopping for a new TV or browse the racks in a clothing store while they’re in town.

The data shows Orange’s visitor number are steadily growing.

Tourism Research Australia data for visitors to the Orange local government area reached a new record in in the year ending Dec 2019 - 1,317,000. That had climbed from the year ending Dec 2015 when 773,000 visitors came to Orange.

That research shows that domestic overnight visitors stay for an average of 3 nights and spend about $467 per trip.

COVID response helped NT Labor, encouraging Palaszczuk and McGowan to stick to their scripts

Both those pressing for states to re-open borders, and defenders of their resistance to doing so, will look for arguments to support their cases in Saturday’s Northern Territory election results.

Chief Minister Michael Gunner has taken a tough line on the NT border. With the NT COVID-free, people can’t go to the territory from COVID “hotspots” without quarantining at their own expense.

Labor’s loss of seats – while retaining government whether in majority or minority – is seen by the “open borders” urgers as carrying lessons about putting all (or most) eggs in a keep-safe basket.

It’s accepted that if he hadn’t had COVID to run on, Gunner would have been much worse off, given the NT’s preCOVID economic problems.

But if he had taken a softer approach to the border, and there’d been a major COVID outbreak, he would have worn serious blame. With indigenous people – who, like the elderly, form a high risk group for COVID – forming about 30% of the NT community, a big outbreak could have been catastrophic.

And while the NT economy remains in poor shape, especially the tourist sector, the state is open internally

(they were all hugging at those party functions on Saturday night).

Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and Western Australian Premier Mark McGowan are unlikely to see the NT result as sending a signal their border policies will be a political handicap.

That doesn’t mean Palaszczuk and McGowan can afford to rely on their performances on COVID alone when they go to the polls in October and early next year respectively. Their voters will expect more. But as things

stand, restrictive border policies are popular and the NT hasn’t said otherwise.

Scott Morrison’s relative powerlessness on the border issue was illustrated at Friday’s national cabinet.

Progress is being made on specific problems, such as the needs of agriculture in border areas, and health matters.

But on the basic question of opening or closing, the premiers remained firm.

Only NSW is Morrison’s ally in this battle.

While commentators see the war over borders as a sign of the federation’s dysfunction, voters in particular states read it

differently.

Morrison announced at his Friday news conference national cabinet had asked the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), including state and federal health advisers, to define a “hotspot” and consider movement restrictions relating to these spots.

He hopes such a definition would put pressure on premiers and chief ministers to limit border closures.

An Irish bloke was digging holes of varying sizes in his backyard. His neighbour asked him what he was doing.

I'm digging a hole to bury my dog, said the Irishman.

The neighbour said: But why have you dug so many holes?

Gobsmacking campaign puts profits before quad bike safety

The Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) says rogue campaigners who are fighting a law requiring new quad bikes to be fitted with crucial safety devices will have blood on their hands if they get their way and subsequent unprotected rollovers kill more rural Australians, including children.

“The pushback from quad bike manufacturers like Honda and Yamaha, as well as Save the Quad Bike Australia and AgForce Queensland on this law is gobsmacking – it is beyond belief” RDAA President, Dr John Hall, said.

“Their proposal for a paper-thin training and licencing program for quad bike users, as a replacement for a law requiring manufacturers Let the Express print your best animal photos - feathered, hairy, to install operator protection devices (OPDs) on smooth, silky and your funny caption explaining your photo. “Are they saying that, because car drivers have licences, they shouldn’t have to wear seatbelts?

“And because motorcycle riders have licences, they shouldn’t have to wear helmets?

“There are so many holes in this campaign it is farcical.

“To those quad bike manufacturers who are threatening to pull out of the Australian market, we say - ‘See you later. If you don’t care enough about the lives of Australian farmers and their children to want to ensure their safety, we don’t want you dumping your products here anyway.’

“Thankfully, there are some sensible quad bike manufacturers who will step up and install OPDs on their new quad bikes – we thank them for their commitment to the safety of rural Australians.

“The evidence is very clear – OPDs save lives.

“They are a much more credible safety device than the flimsy piece of paper being put forward as a ‘licence’.

“This is a clear case of profit trumping user safety.

“Installing OPDs on new quad bikes will not add much to their overall cost, but it will save countless lives.

“Half of all quad bike fatalities result from a rollover.

“Fourteen lives have been lost in Australian quad bike accidents in 2020 alone.

“We say to the groups fighting this law, including Save the Quad Bike Australia – why don’t you support what is clearly right and save the lives of quad bike riders instead?”

Acting Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly told the news conference: “It is a piece of work we have had an attempt at before. And we’ll continue to try to get consensus there in AHPPC about a definition of a hotspot.”

It remains to be seen whether this committee can agree. And if it does, whether that would make any difference to what leaders do.

But when parliament resumes on Monday, it won’t be borders that will be the front of mind issue – it will be aged care.

With a majority of COVID deaths being people who lived in aged care facilities, and an absolute shocker of a performance from Aged Care Minister Richard Colbeck on Friday, the opposition has a lot of ammunition.

Colbeck, appearing before the Senate COVID committee, was asked two simple questions.

How many deaths had there been of residents of facilities, and how many COVID cases were there among residents at present. He could neither remember, nor find the numbers immediately.

This was appalling preparation.

Forced to defend Colbeck, Morrison said, “on occasion, I can’t call every figure to mind”.

But the PM knew such a lapse has an impact beyond its strictly objective importance.

An example from long ago makes the point.

Late in the Hawke government, then treasurer John Kerin at a news conference was unable to explain an economic term. It was hardly a hanging offence. But it damaged Kerin, and the government.

With the Colbeck clip shown over and over, it quickly becomes a symbol of both the minister’s failure, and the failure of the government to do enough to protect aged care residents.

The odds are short that Morrison will move Colbeck from aged care when he reshuffles his ministry following the departure of Mathias Cormann late this year.

But Colbeck is only one player in the aged care crisis, and not the most important. He’s

the junior minister in the health portfolio. The Health Minister Greg Hunt, the prime minister, the government regulator of the industry (the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission), and advisers to government share responsibility.

And it is important we don’t forget the private providers: did some of them not heed warnings?

Ultimate political responsibility belongs to the federal government.

Faced with questions about the Victorian aged care disaster, Morrison has tried to unload some of the blame onto the state government by saying the states have responsibility for public health.

That’s true and the Victorian government must be accountable, both for unleashing community transmission with the quarantine breach and for inadequacies in its health reaction. But the fact the federal government is responsible for the sector means Morrison, Colbeck and Hunt need to both admit the Commonwealth’s mistakes and also lay out a convincing roadmap for the future.

Some actions are being undertaken, and there is the complication that the report of the royal commission into aged care is still months away.

But the issue is urgent.

The Morrison government is always reluctant to be seen to be pushed, and Friday’s national cabinet provided an interesting insight into this.

When the royal commission less than a fortnight ago suggested, based on evidence from Monash University geriatrician Joseph Ibrahim, that the government should set up an advisory unit including people with expertise in aged care, infection control and emergency responses, Morrison was publicity dismissive.

But the statement from Friday’s national cabinet said: “A time-limited AHPPC Aged Care Advisory Group will be established to support the national public health emergency response to COVID-19 in aged care. The Advisory Group will bring together expertise about the aged care sector, infection control, emergency preparedness and public health response.”

What do flowers taste like?

Pretty Produce owner, Simone Jelley was recently awarded a state Delicious Produce Award in the "from the earth" category.

Ms Jelley said her flowers appear on plates in venues from Brisbane to Melbourne.

"The produce is prepared specifically for the cafe and restaurant market," she said.

Edible flowers are being used in biscuits, rice paper rolls and as decoration on many dishes in cafes and restaurants.

"We also show people what you can do with edible flowers, like with biscuits and rice paper rolls and other creative uses.

"The kids often describe the flowers when they eat them like 'a little bit of weird lettuce'."

Ms Jelley said a big focus for the farm was education and food security.

"We're really keen on growing in urban spaces, as well as community

farming and health," she said.

Simone Jelley started the farm after discovering what flowers were edible in her garden.

"We continually talk about food security and what is edible."

To spread the message, the farm hosts volunteers from all over the world to help with the harvest and upkeep of the farm.

"The community is really supportive and we've had so many volunteers who pop in and come and volunteer their time," she said.

Ms Jelley said she hoped recent nearby land purchased by investors and developers would not affect the small farm.

"I'm a firm believer in biodiversity and I talk about it with our farming practices ... I hope we can keep things growing," she said.

Pretty Produce is only one of a growing number of agribiz now growing edible flowers and microgreens.

When Agricultural Scientist Bruce French was teaching agriculture in Papua New Guinea back in the 1970’s his students had a strong message for him. “They were sick of being taught about western plants and wanted to learn more about their own native produce” said Bruce. “I knew nothing about the native produce of PNG and what grew naturally in their soils. Bruce spent the next few years researching, identifying and forming a database for PNG and said “I just kept going. What about the next country, and the next country?”

During the next 50+ years, Bruce and his wife, Deborah, committed to a worthwhile challenge - to set up a database of more than 31,000 edible plants growing naturally in individual countries across the world.

Bruce explains - “Our work is used to address malnutrition across the globe”. “I’m not trying to make fame nor fortune. I’m interested in hungry kids not dying before they get to school.”

Bruce’s database focuses on five primary nutrients - Protein, Iron, Vitamins A and C and Zinc which he explains as “often abundant in plants native to areas of the developing world where malnutrition is rife and where, unfortunately, western foods are favoured.”

Deborah French adds “It’s really getting these countries to look and learn what their local plants are because often they are more nutritious than introduced ones. “For example Cassava leaves and Amaranth are loaded with iron - compared to cabbage. “I remember one Kenyan man who said ‘I know cabbage is not good for my children, it fills their stomach up and there’s not much room for anything else, but it (cabbage) has prestige!’

Bruce and Deborah are based in Tasmania where their work continues today in a former church building in Burnie. Bruce’s work continues to be used to address malnutrition across the globe where governments and organisations are learning more about the native plants grown naturally in their own soils and their nutritional value.

The Formation of Food Plant Solutions: After hearing Bruce French give a presentation on his database back in 2007 to a Rotary Club, Agronomist Buz Green helped found the notfor-profit Food Plant Solutions to spread the message.

"As an agronomist, I've been involved in trying to grow crops in places where they weren't suited to or meant to be" said Buz Green. "But Bruce's

work is about, 'What plants grow best in this location and what are the plants that are most appropriate for nutritional needs of the people?'"

He said farmers and agronomists produced fresh, safe, healthy food but often did not consider the nutritional value.

"You go and talk to western-trained Agronomists and say, 'Here's a number of plants, can you rank them in terms of their concentration of different nutrients? Which one would have the highest zinc and which one would have the lowest zinc?' Most of them wouldn't have any idea."

Battling malnutrition overseas Food Plant Solutions partners with organisations that are already working in other countries and shares knowledge about the best plants to meet the nutritional needs of the community in that region.

AOG World Relief Vietnam works in the country's rural areas, where around a quarter of children are malnourished. 16 gardens have now been established in primary schools where the children and their families are involved in preparing garden beds, planting seeds, and growing foods traditionally grown in their soils.

"Malnutrition rates are dropping, enrolments are going up, kids staying in school is going up because before, kids would only stay in school until lunchtime then go home and most wouldn't come back after lunch," said Rebekah Windsor, project manager with AOG World Relief Vietnam.Mr French’s work has helped a Vietnamese primary school develop a food garden. Ms Windsor said knowledge of native plants had been lost and not passed down through the generations, which was why guides and handbooks created in Tasmania provided so much value in Vietnam.

"So when we go through, sit down with the teachers, principals, parents, with the guide and go through the amazing nutrition of a certain plant, their mind is blown," she said.

"They learn that the root is actually more valuable than other parts of the plant and often say, 'Wow, I didn't know this was so nutritious, this grows down the road and we've never even thought about it before."

Agricultural engineer John McPhee helps turn the immense database of more than 31,000 plants into the easy-to-read guides.

"What Bruce has done with the database is fantastic," Mr McPhee said.

"There's just so much information in there from so many sources.

"Bringing that information together, as he has done over his life, has been a monumental task."

REG’S BENCH George Phillips, an elderly man, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked "Is someone in your house?" He said "No," but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me.

Then the police dispatcher said "All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available" George said, "Okay." He hung up the phone and counted to 30. Then he phoned the police again on 000.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I just shot and killed them both, the dogs are eating them right now." and he hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

Australia’s peak farm body has thrown its weight behind an aspirational economy-wide target of net carbon zero by 2050 (NCZ2050).

Members of the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) have voted in favour of the landmark policy – which includes strict caveats regarding fair implementation and economic viability – at an online meeting this month.

NFF President Fiona Simson said the strengthening of the NFF’s climate goals was a strong reminder of the role farmers already played in tackling emissions.

“Australia’s farm sector continues to be a leader in reducing greenhouse gas emissions,” Ms Simson said.

“In the past decade, agriculture has consistently reduced its emissions intensity and net emissions within the Australian economy.

“The red meat sector, for example, has a target of being carbon neutral by 2030 and is already making great headway on research and new technologies that will enable that transformation.”

However, despite progress in the farm sector, Ms Simson warned the goal of NCZ2050 would be just an aspiration without ongoing innovation and policy support.

“We need to equip farmers with far better tools for evaluating and reporting on individual business emissions,” Ms Simson said.

“This will require new investment in research and development, so we have more robust baseline information, new pathways to reduce emissions, and fewer barriers to participation in carbon markets.”

Action on climate change is a central part of the NFF’s 2030 Roadmap which sets a vision for agriculture to reach $100 billion in farm gate output by 2030.

“There is a huge potential for Australia to be a global leader in low-emissions agriculture,” Ms Simson said.
