Car crushing & other family fun This SATURDAY 19 MARCH 10 a.m. to 3 p.m
"No! You can't bring your own car - no insurance jobs!" I was told when I heard that Benny and co. were going to demonstrate how to crush a wreck into a cube. This is not your normal Open Garden, Classic Cars, Vintage Trucks and Tractors show. Wendy and David McNab have planned a number of activities for every member of the family - from small children (merry-go-round rides, lucky dip, face painting) mums and dads and seniors. The Open Garden will delight - then there’s the classic cars, vintage trucks and tractors, food in the outdoors, coffee and cool drinks, and some 20 market stalls booked in. An incredible auction of donated goods at 1 p.m. will be another feature of the event - that the McNab’s have planned to support the Molong Pantry service and Mental Health (RUOK) Programs. Directions: Follow Banjo Paterson Way from Molong towards Cumnock - head out over the railway crossing past the cemetery and pony club, travel a few kms to Spring Vale Lane (left hand side) - keep an eye out for the property which will be well sigposted on the day. Entry is a gold coin donation. Plenty of parking, seats, warm welcomes ... and plenty to see and do.
Come and see what happens when one of Benny's wrecks gets in the road of the McKenzies' giant excavator. If you can't bear to watch, hop on the Merry-go-round.
