Community Forum to gather ideas for Molong A well attended Molong Advancement Group (MAG) Annual General Meeting last week saw the election of a revitalised committee ready to continue Advancing Molong and poised for another stellar year in 2019. Newly elected MAG Chairperson Peter Batten said, “Following on from a very successful 2018, Molong Advancement Group is looking forward to an even bigger and better 2019. A significant challenge when you look back on 2018 and beyond.” Peter went on to say, “MAG wants to build on its successes by engaging with the broader Molong

Community to determine where to focus its efforts in the future.” To kickstart the process, MAG has engaged Caddie Marshall of Orange 360 to facilitate a forum at the Molong RSL Club at 7pm on Thursday, 13 December 2018. “MAG wants a broad cross section of the community including long term and new residents along with our youth to come to the forum to express ideas about what Molong has to offer as a place to visit, live and work,” Peter said. “The outcomes of the forum will also provide

Orange 360 with information on Molong to enable Orange 360 to market the benefits of Molong to the wide audience with which it deals. “The jewel in our crown for 2018 would have to be the outstanding success of our Village Market Days that have certainly became an íconic event on the district calendar for Molong and Cabonne since moving to the rec which is recognised for its picket fence and picturesque surroundings.” For further information or to comment, contact Peter Batten on 0418 292 053 or Marj Bollinger on 6366 8593.
