AMMAN - MARKA (OJAM)
31°58′21″N 35°59′29″E AMMAN CIVIL AIRPORT Amman Civil Airport , commonly known as Marka International Airport, is located in Marka district, Greater Amman Municipality, Jordan, some 5 km north-east of Amman city center. It serves as Amman's a main civil airport for passengers on chartered flights and VIP private flights, and moreover as an aviation education and training hub. It was the main airport for Jordan until Queen Alia International Airport was opened in 1983. © Amman Civil Airport. 2019

HISTORY
The airport was founded in 1950 by the British as a joint military civilian airport. In 2009, Jordan Airports Company officially assumed managerial and operational responsibility for AMMAN CIVIL AIRPORT. The company is also entrusted with the development of 6,000 Dunums around Queen Alia International Airport. It mainly serves now as a regional airport servicing domestic and nearby international routes, as well as charter and private VIP flights. In coordination with international specialized consultants, the company has prepared a comprehensive master plan for ACA, which includes several capital projects.
The company began the implementation of the first phase of the master plan to develop the facilities at the Airport; in 2012 the VIP Lounge was renovated and operated in a new spirit and a new level of services to position it as one of the most exceptional VIP Terminals in the region. In 2013 the new airport entrance project was delivered and in October 2013 the works started to rehabilitate the arrivals terminal and expand the duty-free shops at the airport, in addition to other several infrastructure and air side projects. The airport is the home to airlines Aviations, and is operational 24 hours a day.

INTRO The visual identity of Amman Civil Airport has been revised to meet both the challenges of the commercial world and the expectations of our customers. We set out to refresh the look of the brand through brighter colors & fonts. The icon mark has been simplified. Most importantly we have created a framework through which we have the flexibility to engage with customers through lines of thought and devlopment .

The ACA color universe covers two shades of bleu , plus two accompanying color – cool gray and light gray. This palette should be adhered to across Pantone, CMYK and RGB applications. Color references: - RGB: All PDF documents, online materials, web applications, etc. - Pantone: Solid colors for printed materials and stationery, where possible. - CMYK: 4-color process for external marketing, printed publications, etc. To maintain consistency and brand recognition, these colors should be the lead colors in all applications. Logo on background tints Wherever you can, use our preferred primary colored logo. However, you could use white, glowing black or glowing gray signatures on coloured or dark backgrounds. Or you cold pick the black (mono) version if you’re worried about legibility or working with a tricky substrate such as vinyl. The table to the right shows how to choose the right weight of background tint for each logo version. Accurate reproduction Always use the artwork provided.
