Project Description: The project involves the master planning of 125,000m2 site in the immediate vicinity of the Mina camping district on the pilgrims’ route to the Al-Masjid AlHaram (Holy Mosque). The project provides a built-up area of more than 800,000m2 with several mid-to-high rise towers of hotels, residential apartments and office buildings, two large shopping malls, a mosque, amenity buildings, as well as large surface and underground parking (3250 car spaces) and a bus terminal. The proposed master plan provides shaded and protected pedestrian passages for pilgrims passing through and around the site on their way between the Haram and Mina camps, with extensive landscaped public plazas. 200 Bed Long Stay Hospital

Project Description: The hospital is a facility for the care of people with special needs that require long stay and care in addition to the cases of motor disabilities. Several blocks have been assembled to achieve integration and interaction of functions through horizontal and vertical motor linkage while ensuring privacy. The blocks have been divided to include the mass of outpatient and inpatient and supportive medical services blocks and support services as well as emergency and operations and physical rehabilitation. The design took into account the provision of natural lighting and ventilation through the provision of openings for celestial illumination and create an interactive human environment with a spacious and harmonious with the outside while maintaining the high privacy of patients.
