CINCINNATI AnACK I VOLLEYBALL This 17 and under boys' volleyball team won the Ohio Valley Regional Championship for the second year in a row to advance to July's USA Volleyball National Championships in Louisville. The team is made up ot beys from Elder, Lakota East, Moeller and St lCa11ier high schools. They are: (front) -Alex Hoekstra, Tom Crema, .Jason Reillly, Eric Grimm, Ryan Strizak; (back)- Coach Rick Kerkhoff, Brian Barth, Keith Kramer, Doug Spotts and Brian Kues.

Moeller repeats as state champion DAYfON- Moeller repeated as the Ohio High School Boys Volleyball Association state champion with a'25-18, 25-12, 25-15 win over Greater Catholic League rival St Xavier in the final at Sinclair Community College Saturday. The Crusaders (28-1) collected their fourth title in eight years. ¡ "Our goal, all year, was to win state," Moeller coach Greg Ulland said. "And the pressure these guys put on themselves is far greater than any outside pressure they may feel." Mrieller set the tone early in the opening game, turning a 6-all tie into a 12-6lead with big blocks from middle hitter Danny Brandel and a pair of kills by outside hitter~ Meyer.
